King David like Abraham is one of the Scriptural personalities that we need to hold-up as an example.

Most of us think of King David as the shepherd boy who slew Goliath the Philistine giant and later became king over the commonwealth of Israel, consisting of the house of Israel and the house of Judah. But, few among us remember David ‘as a man after Elohim’s own heart’ who will rule over the restored kingdom of Judah and Israel during the world to come once again, as prophesied in Jeremiah 30: 4 – 9, in this way: ‘Now these are the words which YHVH spoke concerning Israel and concerning Judah. (5) “For thus says YHVH, ‘I have heard a sound of terror, of dread, and there is no peace. (6) Ask now, and see, if a male can give birth. Why do I see every man with his hands on his loins, as a woman in childbirth? And why have all faces turned pale? (7) Alas! For that day is great, there is none like it; and it is a time of Jacob’s distress, but he will be saved from it. (8) And it shall come about on that day,’ declares YHVH of hosts, ‘that I will break his yoke from off their neck, and will tear off their bonds; and strangers shall no longer make them their slaves. (9) But they shall serve YHVH their Elohim, and David their king, whom I will raise up for them.’”’

The time of Jacob’s distress spoken about here is the end-time great tribulation that Yahshua warned us about in Matthew 24: 15 - 22, saying: “Therefore when you see the ABOMINATION OF DESOLATION which was spoken of through Daniel the prophet, standing in the Set-apart place (let the reader understand), (16) then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains; (17) let him who is on the housetop not go down to get the things out that are in his house;(18) and let him who is in the field not turn back to get his cloak. (19) But woe to those who are with child and those who nurse babes in those days!(20) But pray that your flight may not be in winter, or on a Sabbath; (21) for then there will be a great tribulation, such as has not occurred since the beginning of the world until now, nor ever shall. (22) And unless those days had been cut short, no life would have been saved; but for the sake of the elect those days shall be cut short.”This is talking about a time in the near future when the Pope will attempt to take over the Temple in Jerusalem during Decemberin the winter, when he will offer up unclean meat to the false messiah on the altar on Xmas, thus causing the Temple to become an abomination that makes it a desolation for Jews to worship in, much in the same way as it did in the year 165 BCE whenAntiochus Epiphanesoffered up pig meat on the Altar to Zeus,as prophesied by Daniel when he was in captivity in Babylon.At the time of Antiochus some Jews fearing for their lives, succumbed to not following the Torah and stoppedthe rite of circumcision and eating kosher. They adopted the Greek religion and wanted to ‘blend in’. When Antiochus’s army entered into the town of Modin, where Mattathias and his five sons were living, they tried to persuade them to forsake the Law of Moses and sacrifice to the Greek gods. Mattathias refused to give into their demands and proclaimed his loyalty to the Elohim of Israel and to His Instructions as witnessedin 1 Maccabees 2: 19 – 22, as follows: "But Mattathias answered and said in a loud voice: 'Even if all the nations that live under the rule of the king obey him, and have chosen to do his commandments, departing each one from the religion of his fathers, yet I and my sons and my brothers will live by the covenant of our fathers. Far be it from us to desert the law and the ordinances. We will not obey the king's words by turning aside from our religion to the right hand or to the left"

Heimmediately declared any Jew who succumbed to these demands a traitor to the covenants and to the Elohim of Israel and he called all to join him in a revolt and killing those who opposed him. However, Mattathias would not live through his campaign to see the final victory over the Syrian Greek oppressors. His mantle was passed onto his son, Judas Maccabeus, who led the Jews in a revolt against the Seleucids which took about three years. He was nicknamed Maccabee - which means “hammer.” The Maccabees drove the Seleucids out of the land of Israel and rededicated the Temple in Kislev 148 B.C.E., which is around the month of December. They had the task of cleaning up the mess that the Seleucids had left, notably in the city of Jerusalem and in the Temple complex. Antiochus' forces had completely ransacked the Temple and made it into a haven of idolatry. The Temple needed to be cleansed of its defilement and restored to its previous position so proper sacrifices could once again be performed. Of all of the items of Temple furniture that had to be cleansed and rededicated, one of the most important was the great lamp stand or menorah. The menorah required special consecrated oil in order to be lit. As many of you are no doubt aware, modern observance of Chanukah is commemorated by the lighting of a Chanukahor a special nine-branched menorah. This is different from the menorah that was in the Temple that had seven branches. It is used because when the Temple was rededicated there was only enough oil to be lit for one day. However, the oil remained lit for eight days, allowing time for newly consecrated oil to be produced. Today a ninth candle or servant candle is used to light the eight candles of the chanukia to commemorate the eight days the menorah was lit. Chanukah, meaning "dedication," became the nation's commemoration of this miracle. Judas with his brothers made it a law that the eight days of the dedication of the altar should be celebrated yearly at the proper season, for the eight days beginning on the 25th of Kislev. Danielcorrectly prophesied about the rise of Antiochus Epiphanes and the Maccabean Era, after speaking about the division of Alexander's kingdom into four regions. He prophesied that Antiochus would arise to rule and that his kingdom would come against the faithful ones, but would not die in battle in Daniel 8: 23-25, saying: “And In the latter period of their rule, when the transgressors have run their course, a king will arise, insolent and skilled in intrigue. (24) And his power will be mighty, but not by his own power and he will destroy to an extraordinary degree and prosper and perform his will: he will destroy mighty men and the holy people.(25) And through his shrewdness he will cause deceit to succeed by his influence: and he will magnify himself in his heart, and he will destroy many while they are at ease. He will even oppose the Prince of princes, but he will be broken without human agency" As people who obey Elohim’s Set-apart days, including minor Set-apart days introduced by Rabbinical authority, we follow Yahshua our Messiah who also kept Chanukah or the Feast of Dedication, as witnessed in John 10: 22 & 23, in this way: ‘At that time the Feast of Dedication took place at Jerusalem; (23) it was winter, and Yahshua was walking in the temple in the portico of Solomon.’

Back to the subject mentioned at the beginning, few people are aware that similar to with our father Abraham, YHVH entered into a special covenant relationship with King David as witnessed in Psalm 89: 3 & 4 and 34 – 37, as follows: “I Have made a covenant with My chosen; I have sworn to David My servant, (4) I will establish your seed forever, and build up your throne to all generations. (34) My covenant I will not violate, nor will I alter the utterance of My lips. (35) Once I have sworn by My holiness; I will not lie to David. (36) His descendants shall endure forever, and his throne as the sun before Me. (37) It shall be established forever like the moon, and the witness in the sky is faithful.” For those people who since the mid-1990’s became overly obsessed with watching for the crescent moon to determine their Feast Days, instead of relying on the Levites amongst the Jews to determine Elohim’s annual Feast Days, this confirms the importance of the moonas a reminder that YHVH will one day honor His covenant with King David. If you think that teachers like me are overly concerned with those who like us are simply ‘following a shadow of what is to come’and that they are at least trying to obey Elohim, because they have come to understand that the Levitical Priesthood came to an end at Messiah’s death, let’s consider the prophesy about David in Jeremiah 33: 15 – 22, in this way: ‘In those days and at that time I will cause a righteous Branch of David to spring forth; and He shall execute justice and righteousness on the earth. (16) In those days Judah shall be saved(at Messiah’s return), and Jerusalem shall dwell in safety; and this is the name by which she shall be called: YHVH is our righteousness. (17) For thus says YHVH, “David shall never lack a man to sit on the throne of the house of Israel; (18) and the Levitical priests shall never lack a man before Me to offer burnt offerings, to burn grain offerings, and to prepare sacrifices continually.”’(19) And the word of YHVH came to Jeremiah, saying, (20) “Thus says YHVH, ‘If you can break My covenant for the day, and My covenant for the night, so that the day and night will not be at their appointed time,(21) then My covenant may also be broken with David My servant that he shall not have a son to reign on his throne, and with the Levitical priests, My ministers. (22) As the host of heaven cannot be counted, and the sand of the sea cannot be measured, so I will multiply the descendants of David My servant and the Levites who minister to Me.’”

The point is that even among those who will qualify to get into Elohim’s coming kingdom, some will be made priests and Levites as YHVH promised our Jewish Brothers in Isaiah 66: 20 – 21, saying: ‘“Then they shall bring all your brethren from all the nations as a grain offering (meaning first-fruits) to YHVH, on horses, in chariots, in litters, on mules, and on camels, to My holy mountain (or government) Jerusalem,” says YHVH. ‘just as the sons of Israel bring their grain offering in a clean vessel to the house of YHVH (as commanded in Leviticus 2: 9 - 12[1]). (21) I will also take some of them for priests and for Levites,” Says YHVH.’ Even though this is written in the Tanach, it is yet to occur when the two houses of Israel will once again become one in (YHVH)’s hand as witnessed in Ezekiel 37: 21 – 25 where YHVH again confirms His covenant with David, in this way: “And say to them, ‘Thus says YHVH Elohim’,’ Behold, I will take the sons of Israel from among the nations where they have gone, and I will gather them from every side and bring them into their own land; (22) and I will make them one nation in the land, on the mountains of Israel; and one king will be king for all of them; and they will no longer be two nations, and they will no longer be divided into two kingdoms. (23) And they will no longer defile themselves with their idols, or with their detestable things, or with any of their transgressions; but I will deliver them from all their dwelling places in which they have sinned, and will cleanse them. And they will be My people and I will be their Elohim. (24) And My servant David will be king over them, and they will all have one shepherd; and they will walk in My ordinances, and keep My statues, and observe them. (25) And they shall live on the land that I gave to Jacob My servant, in which your fathers lived; and they will live on it, they, and their sons, and their sons’ sons, forever; and David My servant shall be their prince forever.‘”Most of our Jewish Brothers have a tremendous awe and love for the historic King David and see him as the Rebbe and teacher of all repentant sinners, because he helps us through his life and with Psalms to strive to fulfill Elohim’s Commands. In addition King David is synonymous with the Kingdom of Elohim; when the Kingdom of Israel split about 2800 years ago and the eventual exile of both houses of Israel, the Tabernacle of David fell at that time, but will be raised again as the prophet Amos wrote in Amos 9: 11, saying: “In that day (a phrase used for the end times) I will raise up the fallen booth of David, and wall up its breaches; I will also raise up the ruins, and rebuild it as in the days of old.” This is also endorsed in the book of Acts of the Apostles in Acts 15: 13 – 18, in this way: ‘And after they had stopped speaking, Yaa’cov answered, saying, “Brethren listen to me. (14) “Simeon has related how Elohim first concerned Himself about taking from among the Gentiles (a remnant of the lost ten tribes of Israel, plus a number of real Gentiles) a people for His name. (15) And with this the words of the Prophets agree, just as it is written, (16) ‘AFTER THESE THINGS I will return, AND I WILL REBUILD THE TABERNACLE OF DAVID WHICH HAS FALLEN, AND I WILL REBUILD ITS RUINS, AND I WILL RESTORE IT, (17) IN ORDER THAT THE REST OF MANKIND MAY SEEK YHVH, AND ALL THE GENTILES WHO ARE CALLED BY MY NAME,’ (18) SAYS YHVH, WHO MAKES THESE THINGS KNOWN FROM OF OLD.”’ In reality this summarizes the Message of the Scriptures as understood by the sages and teachers of Judah.

Knowing and studying the lives and times of both Abraham and King David will help us understand the faith of our fathers in the faith and help us to return to Elohim and His ways and to once again do what is pleasing in His sight. Considering the faith of our father Abraham, we know for a fact that (1) he called on (YHVH)’s name as witnessed in Genesis 12: 8[2], but also in Genesis 13: 3 & 4, as follows: ‘And he went on his journeys from the Negev as far as Bethel, to the place where his tent had been at the beginning, between Bethel and Ai, (4) to the place of the altar, which he had made there formerly; and there Abram called on the name of YHVH.’ We also know that our Father Abraham (2) obeyed all of Elohim’s Torah as confirmed by YHVH in Genesis 26: 4 & 5, saying to Isaac: “And I will multiply your descendants as the stars of heaven, and will give your descendants all these lands; and by your descendants all the nations of the earth shall be blessed; (5) because Abraham obeyed Me and kept My charge, My commandments, My statutes and My laws.” Abraham after the binding of Isaac learnt and (3) believed that the dead will one day be resurrected again, as witnessed in Hebrews 11: 17 – 19, as follows: ‘By faith Abraham, when he was tested, offered up Isaac; and he who had received the promise was offering up his only begotten son; (18) it was he to whom it was said, ‘IN ISAAC YOUR DESCENDANTS SHALL BE CALLED.” (19) He considered that Elohim is able to raise men even from the dead; from which he also received him back as a type (of Messiah).’Our father in the faith Abraham also (4)believed in Yahshua our Messiah as He told some Jews of His day in John 8: 56, after a discussion regarding Abraham being their father in the faith, saying: “Your father Abraham rejoiced to see My day, and he saw it and was glad.” Lastly we see from Hebrews 11: 8 – 10 that Abraham (5) believed in the coming kingdom of Elohim in the Promised Land, in this way: ‘By faith Abraham, when he was called, obeyed by going out to a place which he was to receive for an inheritance; and he went out, not knowing where he was going. (9) By faith he lived as an alien in the land of promise, as in a foreign land, dwelling in tents with Isaac and Jacob, fellow heirs of the same promise; (10) for he was looking for the city which has foundations, whose architect and builder is Elohim.’

If we the heirs of father Abraham through faith in Messiah, want to return to the faith of our fathers in the spirit of Elijah, as prophesied by Malachi in Malachi 4: 4-6[3], it is important for those of us whom YHVH has called out of the pagan churches of the world (similar to the way that He called Abram out of his father’s house to go to the Promised Land) to learn about the five key areas of their faith and start doing the same. But, not many people are aware of the fact that Abraham, Isaac and Jacob were not the only fathers in the faith that we need to emulate, but that there are others mentioned with them in Hebrews 11 known as the faith chapter, including King David, who have also not yet received what YHVH have promised them. Yes, like Abraham, King David did not go to heaven when he died, as Rav Kepha told us in Acts 2: 29 – 35, as follows: ‘Brethren, I may confidently say to you regarding the patriarch David that he both died and was buried, and his tomb is with us to this day. (30) And so, because he was a prophet, and knew that ELOHIM HAD SWORN TO HIM WITH AN OATH TO SEAT one OF HIS DESCENDANTS UPON HIS THRONE, (31) he looked ahead and spoke of the resurrection of the Messiah, that HE WAS NEITHER ABANDONED TO HADES, NOR DID HIS flesh SUFFER DECAY. (32) This Yahshua Elohim raised up again, to which we are all witnesses. (33) Therefore having been exalted to the right hand of Elohim, and having received from the Father the promise of the Set-apart Spirit, He has poured forth this which you both see and hear. (34) For it was not David who ascended into heaven, but he himself says: YHVH SAID TO MY MASTER, “SIT AT MY RIGHT HAND, (35) UNTIL I MAKE THINE ENEMIES A FOOTSTOOL FOR THY FEET.”’ The fact that King David and the other fathers and mothers in the faith did not receive what was promised them is confirmed in Hebrews 11: 32 – 40, in this way: ‘And what more shall I say? For time will fail me if I tell of Gideon, Barak, Samson, Jephthah, of David and Samuel and the prophets, (33) who by faith conquered kingdoms, performed acts of righteousness, obtained promises, shut the mouths of lions, (34) quenched the power of fire, escaped the edge of the sword, from weakness were made strong, became mighty in war, put foreign armies to flight. (35) Women received back their dead by resurrection; and others were tortured, not accepting their release, in order that they might obtain a better resurrection(the first resurrection); (36) and others experienced mockings and scourgings, yes, also chains and imprisonment. (37) They were stoned, they were sawn in two, they were tempted, they were put to death with the sword; they went about in sheepskins, in goatskins, being destitute, afflicted, ill-treated. (38) (men of whom the world was not worthy), wandering in deserts and mountains and caves and holes in the ground. (39) And all these, having gained approval through their faith, did not receive what was promised, (40) because Elohim had provided something better for us, so that, apart from us they should not be made perfect.’This is a fantastic promise that if we qualify by showing our faith by our works, like our fathers in the faith did, we will all one day be resurrected together or changed if we remain alive until the first resurrection at Messiah’s return.

It is further more important for us to consider the life and times of King David, since healready qualified for the position as king under Yahshua during the millennium and beyond, but also because he is another example of someone who in the most did what was pleasing to Elohim. Let’s therefore consider a number of Psalms written by King David to see how he embraced the same five key beliefs that Abraham, Isaac and Jacobdid.To start with let’s see how King David honored the most Set-apart name of YHVH in a number of the Psalms that he wrote:

Beginning in Psalm 5: 11, we read: ‘But let all who take refuge in Thee be glad, let them ever sing for joy; and mayest Thou shelter them, that those who love Thy name may exult in Thee.’
Psalm 8: 1, ‘O YHVH our Master (Adonai), how majestic is Thy name in all the earth, who hast displayed Thy splendor above the heavens!’
Psalm 9: 2& 10:‘I will be glad and exult in Thee; I will sing praise to Thy name, O Most High. And Those who know Thy name will put their trust in Thee; for Thou, O YHVH, hast not forsaken those who seek Thee.’
Psalm 20: 1 & 7: ‘May YHVH answer you in the day of trouble! May the name of the Elohim of Jacob set you securely on high! Some boast in chariots, and some in horses; but we will boast in the name of YHVH, our Elohim.’
Psalm 22: 22 (which is a prophetic quote of Messiah’s words in His prayer recorded in John 17 and specifically in verses 6 & 26[4]): ‘I will tell of Thy name to my brethren, in the midst of the assembly I will praise Thee.’

King David even spoke against those who take the names of other gods on their lips, in Psalm 16: 4, saying: ‘The sorrows of those who have bartered for another god will be multiplied; I shall not pour out their libations of blood. Nor shall I take their names upon my lips.’ We read about King David’s commitment to obeying Elohim’s charge, commandments, statutes and laws. Starting in Psalm 19: 7 – 11, King David wrote: ‘The law of YHVH is perfect, restoring the soul; the testimony of YHVH is sure making wise the simple. (If you ever speculatedabout how simple people may become knowledgeable– here is your answer) (8) The precepts of YHVH are right, rejoicing the heart; the commandments of YHVH is pure, enlightening the eyes. (9) The fear of YHVH is clean, enduring forever; the judgments of YHVH are true; they are righteous altogether. (10) They are more desirable than gold, yes, than much fine gold; sweeter also than honey and the drippings of the honeycomb. (11)Moreover, by them Thy servant is warned; in keeping them there is great reward.’ A second more compelling witness to King David’s commitment to Elohim’s Torah comes from Psalm 119. The entire Psalm testifies to how much respect King David had for Elohim’s Torah teachings, but as in Psalm 19, he confirms verses 97 – 104that Torah gave him wisdom, saying: ‘O how I love Thy law! It is my meditation all the day. (98) Thy commandments make me wiser than my enemies, for they are ever mine. (99) I have more insight than all my teachers, for Thy testimonies are my meditation. (100) I understand more than the aged, because I have observed Thy precepts. (101) I have restrained my feet from every evil way, that I may keep Thy word. (102) I have not turned aside from Thine ordinances, for Thou Thyself hast taught me. (103) How sweet are Thy words to my taste! Yes, sweeter than honey to my mouth! (104) From Thy precepts I get understanding; therefore I hate every false way.’

Let’s now consider what King David believed about the resurrection of the dead. Starting in Psalm 22 we read the following witness about King David’s knowledge regarding this ‘uncertain’ subject of the resurrection of the dead and the coming Kingdom of Elohim in verses 27 – 29, in this way: ‘All the ends of the earth will remember and turn to YHVH, and all the families of the nations will worship before Thee. (28) For the kingdom is (YHVH)’s and He rules over the nations. (29) All the prosperous of the earth will eat and worship, all those who go down to the dust will bow before Him, even he who cannot keep his soul alive.’The underlined sentence tells us that even sinners will be resurrected to life again after the Great White Throne judgment mentioned in Revelation 20: 12[5], where YHVH will open their minds to the truth of the Scriptures. It is at this time that YHVH will remove the veil which is stretched over all nations, so that they will understand the Scriptures and make an informed decision as to whether they want to follow YHVH and His Torah, or not, as also witnessed in Isaiah 25: 7 – 9, as follows: ‘And on this mountain He will swallow up the covering which is over all peoples. Even the veil which is stretched over all nations. (8) He will swallow up death for all time, and YHVH Elohim will wipe tears away from all faces, and He will remove the reproach of His people from all the earth; for YHVH has spoken. (9) And it will be said in that day, “Behold, this is our Elohim for whom we have waited that He might save us. This is YHVH for whom we have waited; let us rejoice and be glad in His salvation.”Going back to Psalm 17: 15, we see that King Davidbelieved that when Messiah returns one day, he will be resurrected as a spirit being, saying:‘As for me, I shall behold Thy face in righteousness; I will be satisfied with Thy likeness when I awake.” We see further that Rav Yochanan the disciple whom Yahshua loved believed similarly and wrote in first John 3: 1 – 4, saying: ‘See how great a love the Father has bestowed upon us, that we should be called children of Elohim; and such we are. For this reason the world does not know us, because it did not know Him. (2) Beloved, now we are children of Elohim, and it has not appeared as yet what we shall be. We know that, when He appears, we shall be like Him, because we shall see Him just as He is.’

The fourth area where King David and Abraham agreed in their faith, was belief in Yahshua our Messiah and Savior, but also as our coming King and High Priest as Rav Kepha quoted earlier from Psalm 110: 1, saying: ‘YHVH says to my Master: “Sit at My right hand, until I make Thine enemies a footstool for Thy feet.”’ Continuing in verse 2 – 7 of Psalm 110, David wrote: ‘YHVH will stretch forth Thy strong scepter from Zion, saying, “Rule in the midst of Thine enemies.” (3) Thy people will volunteer freely in the day of Thy power; in holy array, from the womb of the dawn, Thy youth are to Thee as the dew. (4) YHVH has sworn and will not change His mind, Thou art a priest forever according to the order of Melchizedek. (5) YHVH is at Thy right hand; He will shatter kings in the day of His wrath. (6) He will judge among the nations, He will fill them with corpses, He will shatter the chief men over a broad country. (7) He will drink from the brook by the wayside; therefore He will lift up His head.’ King David further shows that he knows the identity of the arm of YHVH in Psalm 98: 1 – 3, saying: ‘O sing to YHVH a new song, for He has done wonderful things, His right hand and His holy arm have gained the victory for Him. (2) YHVH has made know His salvation; He has revealed His righteousness in the sight of the nations. (3) He has remembered His lovingkindness and His faithfulness to the house of Israel; all the ends of the earth have seen the salvation of our Elohim.’ YesChurchianity knows that Yahshua the Messiah {or J*e*s*u*s* as they refer to Him} is the salvation of YHVH, but they believe He is a second person of their three-person G-d and believe that He abolished the need to obey Torah. We understand from the underlined words in verse 3, that even though the house of Israel has other than the house of Judah, forgotten Elohim and His Torah, He has specifically sent Yahshua to reconcile us back to the Father, as Isaiah prophesied in Isaiah 49: 5 & 6, saying: ‘And now says YHVH, who formed Me from the womb to be His Servant, to bring Jacob back to Him in order that Israel might be gathered to Him (For I am honored in the sight of YHVH and My Elohim is My strength), (6) He says, “It is too small a thing that You should be My Servant to raise up the tribes of Jacob, and to restore the preserved ones of Israel; I will also make You a light of the nations so that My salvation may reach to the end of the earth.”’ King David prophesied about Yahshua’s death on the impalement stake in Psalm 22: 1, saying: ‘My El, my El, why hast Thou forsaken me? Far from my deliverance are the words of my groaning.’ He also prophesied how Messiah will be mocked whilst hanging on the stake in verse 8 of Psalm 22, saying: “Commit yourself to YHVH; let Him deliver him; let Him rescue him, because He delights in him.” Finally we read about King David’s faith in Messiah in Psalm 118: 14, 21 - 23, where he writes:‘YHVH is my strength and song, and He has become my salvation (Yeshuati).’ (21) I shall give thanks to Thee for Thou hast answered me; and Thou hast become my salvation. (22) The stone which the builders rejected has become the chief corner stone. (23) This is (YHVH)’s doing’ it is marvelous in our eyes.’ King David even goes so far as to prophecy about Yahshua’s words in Matthew 23: 39, saying in verse 26 of Psalm 118: ‘Blessed is the one who comes in the name of YHVH.’

Having (YHVH)’s promise to be resurrected as the prince to rule over both the house of Israel and the house of Judah, David testified about Elohim’s everlasting Kingdom in Psalm 22: 28, saying: ‘For the kingdom is (YHVH)’s, and He rules over the nations.’ He wrote about Yahshua in Psalm 89: 27, saying: “I also shall make him My first-born, the highest of the kings of the earth.’ Finally he wrote in Psalm 145: 11 – 13, saying: ‘They shall speak of the glory of Thy kingdom, and talk of Thy power; (12) To make known to the sons of men Thy mighty acts, and the glory of the majesty of Thy kingdom. (13) Thy kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and Thy dominion endures throughout all generations.’ Knowing for certain what our father’s in the faith believed, we are now armed with knowledge to teach our children and those new believers whom YHVH is busy calling out of the world, to return to the faith of our fathers in the faith! Halleluyah!

[1] Leviticus 2: 9 - 12: ‘The priest then shall take up from the grain offering its memorial portion, and shall offer it up in smoke on the altar as an offering by fire of a soothing aroma to YHVH. And the remainder of the grain offering belongs to Aaron and his sons: a thing most holy, of the offerings to YHVH by fire. No grain offering, which you bring to YHVH, shall be made with leaven, for you shall not offer up in smoke any leaven or any honey as an offering by fire to YHVH As an offering of first fruits, you shall bring them to YHVH, but they shall not ascend for a soothing aroma on the altar’

[2]Genesis 12: 8, ‘Then he proceeded from there to the mountain on the east of Bethel, and pitched his tent, with Bethel on the west and Ai on the East and there he built an altar to YHVH and called on the name of YHVH.’

[3] Malachi 4: 4- 6, “Remember the law of Moses My servant, even the statutes and ordinances which I commanded him in Horeb for all Israel. Behold, I am going to send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and terrible day of YHVH. And he will restore the heart of the fathers to their children, and the hearts of the children to their fathers, lest I come and smite the land with a curse.”The heart of the fathers refer to here, is the faith or belief system of our fathers in the faith, namely Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, but also King David

[4]John 17: 6 & 26: “I manifested Thy name to the men whom Thou gavest Me out of the world; Thine they were, and Thou gavest them to Me, and they have kept Thy word. And I have made Thy name known to them, and will make it known; that the love wherewith Thou didst love Me mat be in them, and I in them.”
