The Spirit of Elijah and the end time work.

The fact that we are living during the last days can be confirmed by reflecting on what the prophet Daniel wrote in Daniel 12: 4, in this way: “But as for you, Daniel, conceal these words and seal up the book until the end of time; many will go back and forth, and knowledge will increase.” This is the first time in the history of mankind, that mankind travels at great speed from one city in the world to another on a daily basis. We also live in an age where knowledge about science and technology, but also knowledge about the Scriptures is increasing at an alarming pace on a daily basis. In addition, most of the signs of the end of the age detailed in Matthew 24, Mark 13 and Luke 21 by Yahshua our Messiah are prevalent in the age that we live. More than forty years ago, when my wife and I started studying Elohim’s Scriptural revelations about the end time, we were dubious about the things we were told would happen in our time; because at that time we really lived the good life in the lap of abundance, without any worries about what was coming. However, things have changed dramatically during the last few years, and we are deeply concerned for the next few generations, before Messiah returns.

Now that we have determined the age in which we live, let’s get to understand what is meant by the phrase ‘the Spirit of Elijah’ and how it relates to the end time work, which those who came before us started during the early twentieth century.  We need to understand that next to Moses, the prophet Elijah was one of the most revered prophets in all Judaism. The account of the life and times of Elijah is told in the book of first Kings 17: 1 to second Kings 2: 15, as well as many other verses throughout the Scriptures. The name of Elijah or more correctly Eliyahu literally means YHVH is my Elohim. Elijah lived during the times of some of the kings of Israel, before the nation of Israel were taken into captivity by the Assyrians during 721 – 718 BCE.  After king Omri of Israel slept with his fathers, and was buried in Samaria, Ahabhis son became king over Israel. Ahab married the daughter of the king of the Zidonians, named Jezebel. The name Ahab literally means ‘adultery’.  King Ahab and his wife Jezebel were an evil alliance and caused the house of Israel to sin even more than before. Jezebel had all the prophets of Elohim killed and chose her own priests and prophets to serve Baal and Asherim. When YHVH saw the Idolatry in Israel He sent His prophet Eliyah to king Ahab with the message, as recorded in first Kings 17: 1, as follows: ‘Now Elijah the Tishbite, who was of the settlers of Gilead, said to Ahab, “As YHVH, the Elohim of Israel lives, before whom I stand, surely there shall be neither dew nor rain these years, except by my word.”’ From that time on there was no more rain, the wells began to dry up and without water the crops in Israel failed. Soon their food became scarce and the nation of Israel was feeling Elohim’s punishment. We also notice here that Eliyah was a Tishbite which refers to those Israelites who live across the Jordan. But the name ‘Tishbite’ means ‘sojourner’ but also ‘captivity’. Both these meanings were relevant to Eliyah, since he was a prophet sent by YHVH from the house of Israel from Gilead meaning ‘rocky’ which was the area on the dividing line between the tribes of Gad and Manasseh, east of the Jordan River.YHVH sent Elijah to Zarephath in Sidon (meaning a fishing village) which was a Phoenician coastal town north of Israel, in what is Lebanon today. The widow that Elijah stayed with was not an Israelite, but she had some knowledge about YHVH the Elohim of Israel.

At that time Elijah had to trust fullyin Elohim to provide him with his daily food. YHVH sent Elijah to stay with a certain widow and her son, and when Elijah arrived at her home, the woman was making a fire to cook the last meal for her and her son. Elijah called the widow asking her to bring him water in a jar to drink, and also asked for a piece of bread to eat. However, we read from first Kings 17: 12 ‘But she said, “As YHVH your Elohim lives, I have no bread, only a handful of flour in the bowl and a little oil in a jar; and behold, I am gathering a few sticks that I may go in and prepare for me and my son, that we may eat it and die.”’ Elijah answered her in verse 13 & 14, saying:“Do not fear; go, do as you have said, but make me a little bread cake from it first, and bring it out to me, and afterward you may make one for yourself and for your son.(14) For thus says YHVH Elohim of Israel, ‘The bowl of flour shall not be exhausted, nor shall the jar of oil be empty, until the day that YHVH sends rain on the face of the earth.’” The widow trusted Elohim and did as Elijah asked and her flour and oil lasted until the end of the drought. But during Elijah’s sojourning with the widow and her son, her son became ill and he died, and she said to Elijah in verse 18 of first Kings 17: “What do I have to do with you, O man of Elohim? You have come to me to bring my iniquity to remembrance, and to put my son to death!”Elijah’s reply and what happened next is recorded in verses 19 - 24, as follows: “Give me your son.”Then he took him from her bosom and carried him up to the upper room where he was living, and laid him on his own bed. (20) And he called to YHVH and said, “O YHVH my Elohim, hast Thou also brought calamity to the widow with whom I am staying, by causing her son to die?” (21) Then he stretched himself upon the child three times, and called to YHVH, and said, “O YHVH, my Elohim, I pray Thee let this child’s life return to him.” (22) And YHVH heard the voice of Elijah, and the life of the child returned to him and he revived. (23) And Elijah took the child, and brought him down from the upper room into the house and gave him to his mother; and Elijah said, “See, your son is alive.” (24)Then the woman said to Elijah, “Now I know that you are a man of Elohim, and that the word of YHVH in your mouth is truth.”  In these happenings we see that Elijah did the same kind of miracles as Messiah would perform later, namely to increase food and to raise up the dead.

What is important to notice at this point, is that Elijah fed the woman and her child for the better part of three and a half years – a length of time which has a lot of meaning for the house of Israel in the last days, as witnessed in Revelation 12: 1 – 6, in this way: “And a great sign appeared in heaven: a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and on her head a crown of twelve stars: and she was with child;  (2) and she cried out, being in labor and in pain to give birth. (3) And another sign appeared in heaven: and behold, a great red dragon having seven heads and ten horns, and on his heads were seven diadems. (4)And his tail swept away a third of the stars (angels) of heaven, and threw them to the earth. And the dragon stood before the woman who was about to give birth, so that when she gave birth he might devour her child. (5)And she gave birth to a son, a male child, who is to rule all the nations with a rod of iron; and her child was caught up to Elohim and to His throne. (6) And the woman fled into the wilderness where she had a place prepared by Elohim, so that there she might be nourished for one thousand two hundred and sixty days.”YHVH will ensure that even though the world will experience a drought of His word during the 2½year great tribulation and the Day of YHVH lasting another year, His elect will still be fed spiritual food to keep them prepared to rule under Messiah during the Millennium.

After the end of the drought, three years later Elijah went back to Ahab to tell him that the drought was over. Elohim was going to send rain, but YHVH first wanted King Ahab to know that He was the true Elohim.Elijah initially feared that Ahab would kill him if he saw him again. However, reading from first Kings 18: 17 – 20 we see the rest of the account unfold, in this way: ‘And it came about, when Ahab saw Elijah that Ahab said to him, “Is this you, you troubler of Israel?” (18) And he said, “I have not troubled Israel, but you and your father’s house have, because you have forsaken the commandments of YHVH, and have followed the Baals. (19) Now then send and gather to me all Israel at Mount Carmel, together with 450 prophets of Baal and 400 prophets of the Asherah who eat at Jezebel’s table.” (20) So Ahab sent a message among all the sons of Israel. And brought the prophets together at Mount Carmel.’ The time came and both the prophets of Elohim and those of Baal stood in the sight of Israel. Elijah stepped forward and challenged Ahab and all the people, as we read in the second part of 1 Kings 18: 21, as follows: ‘“How long will you hesitate between two opinions? If YHVH is Elohim, follow Him; but if Baal, follow him.” But the people did not answer him a word.’ Then Elijah had the people bring two bullocks to offer for a sacrifice. One he gave to the prophets of Baal, and the other he kept to offer to YHVH the true Elohim. Each side had to prepare an altar and sacrifice the animal, but they were not allowed to set fire to it. The god who answered by fire to consume the sacrifice would be known as the only true Elohim.

Baal’s prophets began to cry out to him from early in the morning until evening, but there was no answer. We see from first Kings 18: 27 how Elijah mocked the people calling for Baal, saying: “Call out with a loud voice, for he is a god; either he is occupied or gone aside, or is on a journey, or perhaps he is asleep and needs to be awakened.” So they cried with a louder voice and cut themselves according to their custom with swords and lances until blood gushed out of them. But all their efforts were in vain. That evening when it was time for the evening sacrifice, Elijah began to prepare his sacrifice to Elohim. He prepared the altar, carefully placing 12 stones, one for each tribe of Israel. Then He put the animal on the wood which he put on the altar. He next dug a trench around the altar and had four barrels of water poured over the animals and the wood. He poured water over the altar three more times, until the whole altar and sacrifice were soaked.Elijah prayed to YHVH and we see in 1 Kings 18: 38 that He responded, as follows: ‘Then the fire of YHVH fell, and consumed the burnt offering and the wood and the stones and the dust, and licked up the water that was in the trench.’ When the people saw it, they fell on their faces, saying in verse 39: ‘YHVH, He is Elohim; YHVH, He is Elohim.’ Elijah had the prophets of Baal killed and as YHVH promised it soon began to rain. But, if you think that this strong witness would have moved Ahab and Jezebel to serve YHVH, it did not! We continue reading from 1st Kings 19: 1 - 3, in this way: ‘Now Ahab told Jezebel all that Elijah had done, and how he had killed all the prophets (of Baal) with the sword. (2) Then Jezebel sent a messenger to Elijah, saying, “So may the gods do to me and even more, if I do not make your life as the life of one of them by tomorrow about this time.” (3) And he was afraid and arose and ran for his life and came to Beersheba, which belongs to Judah, and left his servant there.’ Jezebel was very angry when she heard that Elijah had her 450 prophets of Baal killed, and that he convinced the children of Israel that YHVH is Elohim. Jezebel sends a threatening message to Elijah, discouraging him greatly and he immediately decided to flee for his life with his servant.

Upon reaching Beersheba, Elijah convinced his servant that they should split up. We read how Elijah continued on his journey from verse 4, as follows: ‘But he himself went a day’s journey into the wilderness, and came and sat down under a juniper tree; and he requested for himself that he might die, and said, “It is enough; now, O YHVH, take my life, for I am not better than my fathers.”’ Elijah felt so despondent that he asked YHVH to take his life and fell asleep under the Juniper tree. We see from verses 5 & 6 that whilst sleeping an angel came and woke him up, as follows: ‘And he lay down and slept under a juniper tree; and behold, there was an angel touching him, and he said to him, “Arise, eat.” (6) Then he looked and behold, there was at his head a bread cake baked on hot stones, and a jar of water. So he ate and drank and lay down again.’ Elijah fell asleep again and was woken up a second time, as we see from verses 7 & 8, in this way: ‘And the angel of YHVH came again a second time and touched him and said, “Arise, eat, because the journey is too great for you.” (8) So he arose and ate and drank, and went in the strength of that food, forty days and forty nights to Horeb, the mountain of Elohim.’ The bread and water strengthened him sufficiently to last him during a forty day and night journey to Mount Horeb. Next we read about a title used for the Creator of the universe, which those of us who came from Christianity, learnt about for the first time in John 1: 1 – 3, namely the ‘word of YHVH’. This is the Aleph-Tav or manifestation of YHVH, who later became flesh as the salvation of YHVH, namely Yahshua. We read accordingly in verses 9, ‘Then he came there to a cave, and lodged there; and behold, the word of YHVH came to him, and He said to him, “What are you doing here, Elijah?”  Elijah answered in verse 10 saying: “I have been very zealous for YHVH, the Elohim of hosts; for the sons of Israel have forsaken Thy covenant, torn down Thine altars and killed Thy prophets with the sword. And I alone am left; and they seek my life to take it away.”

To assure Elijah that YHVH is with him, the word of YHVH instructed Elijah, in verses 11 & 12, saying:‘“Go forth, and stand on the mountain before YHVH.” And behold, YHVH was passing by! And a great and strong wind was rending the mountains and breaking in pieces the rocks before YHVH; but YHVH was not in the wind. And after the wind an earthquake, but YHVH was not in the earthquake. (12) And after the earthquake a fire, but YHVH was not in the fire; and after the fire a sound of gentle blowing.’  The last four words in the KJV reads: ‘a still small voice’. Yes YHVH comes to us in a still small voice; He is not in the great strong wind or in the earth quake or in the fire, if only we are prepared to listen (hear and obey), He is always there. He guides us by His Set-apart Spirit to do the right thing, but we must be prepared to ‘hear’. If we attend Sabbath services with no other motivation[1], but obedience from the heart, we may be sure that it is the Set-apart Spirit indwelling us that motivates us to be there. We read Elijah reacted to the voice in verse 13, like this: ‘And it came about when Elijah heard it, that he wrapped his face in his mantle, and went out and stood in the entrance of the cave. And behold, a voice came to him and said, “What are you doing here, Elijah?” Elijah answered in verse 14, saying: “I have been very zealous for YHVH, the Elohim of hosts; for the sons of Israel have forsaken Thy covenant, torn down Thine altars and killed Thy prophets with the sword. And I alone am left; and they seek my life, to take it away.” In verse 15 of 1st Kings 19, the word of YHVH that came to Elijah in verse 9 is similar to what we read in John 1: 1 identified as YHVH Himself. We read accordingly from verses 15 - 18, ‘And YHVH said to him, “Go, return on your way to the wilderness of Damascus, and when you have arrived, you shall anoint Hazael king over Aram; (16) and Jehu the son of Nimshi you shall anoint king over Israel; and Elisha the son of Shaphat of Abel-meholah you shall anoint as prophet in your place. (17) And it shall come about, that one who escapes from the sword of Hazel, Jehu shall put to death, and the one who escapes from the sword of Jehu, Elisha shall put to death. (18) Yet I will leave 7,000 in Israel, all the knees that have not bowed to Baal and every mouth that has not kissed him.’ But why did YHVH tell Elijah that He would leave 7,000 in Israel that had not bowed the knee to Baal? It is important to remember that we are talking about the house of Israel or the ‘Northern Kingdom’. Seven thousand is a numeric value of the final letter ‘Nun’ in Hebrew; which means ‘kingdom’. The 7,000 represent 100 from each of the 70 Gentile nations of the world.

We know from the Scriptures that YHVH scattered the house of Israel into all the nations of the world, as also witnessed in Amos 9: 9, in this way: “For behold, I am commanding, and I will shake the house of Israel among all nations as grain is shaken in a sieve, but not a kernel will fall to the ground.” We read further from Jeremiah 30: 7 – 11: ‘Alas for that day  is great, there is none like it; and it is the time of Jacob’s distress, but he will be saved from it. (8) And it shall come about on that day,’ declares YHVH of hosts, ‘that I will break his yoke from off their neck, and will tear off their bonds; and strangers shall no longer make them their slaves. (9) But they shall serve YHVH their Elohim, and David their king, whom I will raise up for them. (10) And fear not, O Jacob My servant,’ declares YHVH, ‘and do not be dismayed, O Israel; for behold, I will save you from afar, and your offspring from the land of their captivity. And Jacob shall return, and shall be quiet and at ease, and no one shall make him afraid. (11)For I am with you,’ declares YHVH, ‘to save you; for I will destroy completely all the nations where I have scattered you, only I will not destroy you completely. But I will chasten you justly, and will by no means leave you unpunished.’A remnant in the Scriptures usually represent 10% - accordingly, the 100 from each of the 70 nations, represent 10% from the 10 tribes of the house of Israel. Each tribe represented by 10% or a remnant from the tribes who are not idolaters and follow the way of Elohim. So the 7,000 represent the remnant (or small number) of the house of Israel, that will be saved.Like Elijah, we often get so despondent, when nobody believes the same as we do. In a Christian country like ours, thousands of sincere believers go to church on Sunday and special Xmas services, without knowing that they are sincerely wrong. The reason is as we read in Jeremiah 3: 14, in this way: ‘Return, O faithless sons,’ declares YHVH; ‘for I am a master to you, and I will take you one from a city and two from a family, and will bring you to Zion.’  YHVH is only calling a few at this time, to become first fruit believers, to learn His will and way, so that they may become kings and priests ruling under Yahshua during the millennium and on into eternity. The second harvest of human souls will be a much larger harvest, but will only take place after the millennium and second resurrection (as may be read in Revelation 20: 4 – 6). Yes, the road that we follow is a very lonely narrow road, and there are not many true believers to encourage us, but as YHVH said to Elijah in verse 18 of first Kings 19, there are others like us, throughout this world, who have not bowed the knee to the false gods of this world.

We are only a select few in the world doing the work of Elohim at this time. In addition there is an enormous responsibility on the shoulders of each and every one of us. Our job function is described in Malachi 4: 4 – 6, in this way: “Remember the law of Moses My servant, even the statutes and ordinances which I commanded him in Horeb for all Israel (not only the Jews). (5) Behold, I am going to send you Elijah the prophet before the great and terrible day of YHVH (Yom YHVH will follow after the two and a half years of tribulation before Messiah’s return one day – the Day of YHVH will be the time of the Seven Trumpet Plagues discussed in Revelation 8: 1 to Revelation 11: 15 & 19 and 19: 1 - 21.) (6) And he will restore the hearts of the fathers to their children, and the hearts of the children to their fathers, lest I come and smite the land with a curse(Allah).” This is talking about those of us called out of the world by YHVH. We are the ones who are supposed to teach people to return to YHVH and His Torah, but also to teach them that His name is YHVH. In addition we should teach our children to go back to the hearts (faith) of our father’s in the faith; meaning Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, but also King David. Our Fathers in the faithcalled on the name of YHVH (Genesis 12: 7 & 8[2]) they kept Elohim’s commandments (Genesis 26: 5[3]), they believed in the resurrection of the dead (Hebrews 11: 17 – 19[4]), they believed in Messiah (John 8: 56[5]) and in the coming kingdom of Elohim (Hebrews 11: 10[6]). The prophets of Baal today are none other than those in Christianity/ Messianic /Nazarene Judaism who are too afraid to teach fellow believers that YHVH is our Elohim. Instead they continue to teach in the name of the LORD or Baal. But that is not all; if we turn again to first Kings 18: 29, where we read: ‘And it came about when midday was past, that they (the prophets of Baal) raved until the time of the offering of the evening sacrifice; but there was no voice, no one answered, and no one paid attention.’From this we see that the prophets of Baal (or the LORD) believed in offerings, but rejected the Appointed Time to submit the offering. Turning to verse 36, we read: ‘Then it came about at the time of the offering of the evening sacrifice, that Elijah the prophet came near and said, “O YHVH, the Elohim of Abraham, Isaac and Israel, today let it be known that Thou art Elohim in Israel, and that I am Thy servant, and that I have done all these things at Thy word.’  Elijah presented the offering at The Appointed Time!

Most of us are familiar with (YHVH)’s appointed times. Most of us who know and understand the Feast Days of Elohim, also came to realize that the prophets of Baal have substituted the Set-apart Days of Elohim with Baal’s days. For example Churchianity insists that the Day of the LORD (YHVH) is Sunday, without fully understanding the Day of YHVH will be a terrible time for those who do not follow the way of Elohim and His Feast Days specified in Torah.Yahshua our Messiah was not born on December the 25th and Christmas was a pagan festival adopted by Christianity who tried to make their religion more acceptable to the pagans around them, in an attempt to win them over, and to avoid persecution.  As a result, the original Nazarene faith, which was a sect of Judaism, was cast aside in favor of a counterfeit, paganized belief system. In fact the 25th of December was celebrated as the ‘Nativity of the Sun’ in the northern hemisphere by the pagan cult known as Mithraism. Those who do not keep Elohim’s Feast Days do not understand Elohim’s plan of salvation for all mankind, and have as a result bought into the Satanic doctrine that good people go to heaven at death, whilst the wicked will be thrown into an ever burning hell fire. It is vitally important for our people to know that (YHVH)’s name have been replaced with Baal’s name (Baal being the LORD God).  It is only once you receive the Set-apart Spirit at immersion in Messiah’s saving name Yahshua, that you will truly start searching the Scriptures for the many truths hidden in it.  It is truly as YHVH told Israel through Moses in Deuteronomy 4: 27 - 29, saying: ‘And YHVH will scatter you among the peoples, and you shall be left few in number among the nations, where YHVH shall drive you. (28) And there you will serve gods, the work of man’s hands, wood and stone, which neither see nor hear nor eat nor smell. (29) But there you will seek YHVH your Elohim, and you will find Him if you search for Him with all your heart and all your soul.’

Elijah was sent as man alone to tell the children of Israel that denying and not calling upon the name of YHVH the only true Elohim was not going to be acceptable when it really counts, as Rav Shaul quoting from Joel 2: 32 wrote in Romans 10: 12 – 15, saying: ‘For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek; for the same Master is Master of all, abounding in riches for all who call upon Him; (13) for “WHOEVER WILL CALL UPON THE NAME OF YHVH WILL BE SAVED.” (14) How then shall they call upon Him in whom they have not believed? And how shall they believe in Him whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without a preacher? (15) And how shall they preach unless they are sent? Just as it is written, “HOW BEAUTIFUL ARE THE FEET OF THOSE WHO BRING GLAD TIDINGS OF GOOD THINGS!”  We see here that unless someone teaches new believers about the name of YHVH, they will not know it. It is therefore our duty to teach people to have the proper respect for (YHVH)’s name.  Proper respect means also that we teach them to keep Elohim’s Feast days according to the Hebrew calendar proclaimed by the Levites in the house of Judah annually, and not to keep it according to calendars of our own design, as we are warned in Malachi 2: 2 – 8, in this way: “If you do not listen, and if you do not take it to heart to give honor to My name,” says YHVH of hosts, “then I will send the curse upon you and I will curse your blessings; and indeed, I have cursed them already, because you are not taking it to heart. (3) Behold, I am going to rebuke your offspring, and I will spread refuse on your faces, the refuse of your feasts; and you will be taken away with it.  (4) Then you will know that I have sent this commandment to you, that My covenant may continue with Levi,” says YHVH of hosts. (5) “My covenant with him was one of life and peace, and I gave them to him as an object of reverence; so he revered Me and stood in awe of My name. (6) True instruction was in his mouth and unrighteousness was not found on his lips; he walked with Me in peace and uprightness, and he turned many back from iniquity. (7) For the lips of a priest should preserve knowledge, and men should seek instruction from his mouth; for he is the messenger of YHVH of hosts. (8) But as for you, you have turned aside from the way; you have caused many to stumble by the instruction; you have corrupted the covenant of Levi.” Says YHVH of hosts.’

The forerunner before the second coming of Messiah hasto like Yochanan the Immerser prepare the way for Yahshua’s first coming, as the apostle Luke wrote in Luke 1: 16 & 17, saying: “And he will turn many of the sons of Israel to YHVH their Elohim. (17) And it is he who will go as a forerunner before Him in the spirit and power of Elijah, TO TURN THE HEARTS OF THE FATHERS BACK TO THE CHILDREN, and the disobedient to the attitude of the righteous; so as to make ready a people prepared for YHVH.” Yes, Yochanan the Immerser already came in the Spirit of Elijah before Messiah’s first coming, but as Yahshua said in Matthew 17: 11, “Elijah is coming and will restore all things.”   This leaves us who are now teaching people, that the name of our Elohim is YHVH, with a tremendous job before the second coming of Messiah. It is up to us to ensure that the two houses of Israel will once again be reconciled – where both houses keep the same Sabbath and Feast Days of Elohim, the same kosher food and the same Torah commands that our Jewish Brothers are keeping, even if some of us have no Israelite blood flowing in our veins, as YHVH told the children of Israel in Numbers 15: 15, saying: ‘As for the assembly, there shall be one statute for you and for the alien who sojourns with you, a perpetual statute throughout your generations; as you are so shall the alien be before YHVH.’We have to make the way of our Master Yahshua strait for those who serve Him on a narrow and very lonely road.

For some of us there is still some way to go before YHVH will be prepared to dwell among us, since He will not do so until we conform totally to the image if His son. The conditions for living in our midst is as specified in Deuteronomy 23: 14 “Since YHVH your Elohim walks in the midst of your camp to deliver you and to defeat your enemies before you, therefore your camp must be holy; and He must not see anything indecent among you lest He turn away from you.” If we do not clean up our lives, then we cannot expect YHVH to be amongst us, or to protect us during the evil days ahead of us.  We need to put in every effort to start following Elohim fully and persevere to the end. That is when we  are assured protection during the coming tribulation as Yahshua told Yochanan in Revelation 3: 10, saying: “Because you have kept the word of My perseverance, I also will keep you from the hour of testing, that hour which is about to come upon the whole world, to test those who dwell upon the earth.” Baruch Hashem YHVH!

[1] Motivation such as thinking that godliness (or religion) is a means of gain (as mentioned in 1 Timothy 6: 3 – 5) – be it financial or to find a spouse, is not from the Set-apart Spirit .

[2]Genesis 12: 7 & 8, ‘And YHVH appeared to Abram and said, “To your descendants I will give this land.” So he built an altar there to YHVH who appeared to him. Then he proceeded from there to the mountain on the east of Bethel, and pitched his tent, with Bethel on the west and Ai on the east, and there he built an altar to YHVH and called upon the name of YHVH.’

[3]Genesis 26: 5, “Because Abraham obeyed Me and kept My charge, My commandments, My statues and My laws.”

[4]Hebrews 11: 17 – 19,“By faith Abraham, when he was tested, offered up Isaac; and he who had received the promises was offering up his only begotten son; it was he to whom it was said, ‘IN ISAAC YOUR DESCENDANTS SHALL BE CALLED.’ He considered that Elohim is able to raise men even from the dead; from which he also received him back as a type.”

[5]John 8: 56,“Your father Abraham rejoiced to see My day, and he saw it and was glad.”

[6]Hebrews 11: 10,  “for he was looking for the city which has foundations, whose architect and builder is Elohim.” Even though these verses only talks about Abraham, Isaac and Jacob in the main, it can be proven from the Psalms that King David held these same beliefs.
