Kiss the Son.
Many in Churchianity are extremely critical about some of the customs of our Jewish Brothers in their synagogues. One such custom that regularly takes place in synagogues around the world, is that the congregants kiss a copy of the Torah kept in these synagogues around the world. I have heard some say that they believe this practice is out and out idolatry. However, we read from Psalm 2: 12 (KJV):‘Kiss the Son (which is translated from the Hebrew {נשּׁקוּ־בר}and transliterated as Naschu Bar), lest he be angry, and ye perish from the way.’According to the Hebrew understanding, we are to be joined to, submit to and be faithful to the Son, the heir of all things, or He will be angry with us. We as Nazarene Jews/Israelites believe that Messiah ben Joseph is the embodiment of Torah; so, by kissing the Torah-scroll on Shabbat our Jewish Brothers are unknowingly also paying homage to Torah or the Son.
Two other Tanach references to HaShem having a Son and describing some of Messiah ben Joseph’s words and deeds, comes from Proverbs 30 and Daniel 7. Let us therefore begin by reading the following questions from Proverbs 30: 4, in this way: ‘Who has ascended into heaven and descended? (Q1) Who has gathered the wind in his fists?(Q2) Who has wrapped the waters in His garment?(Q3)Who has established all the ends of the earth? (Q4) What is His name or His son’s name?(Q5)Surely you know!’These questions refer to both the Father and His (future) son: We read from Deuteronomy 30: 11 – 14 in respect of question 1, HASHEM talking about Torah, saying: “For this commandment which I command you today is not too difficult for you, nor is it out of reach. (12) It is not in heaven, that you should say, ‘Who will go up to heaven for us to get it for us and make us hear it, that we may observe it?’ (13) Nor is it beyond the sea, that you should say, ‘Who will cross the sea for us to get it for us and make us hear it, that we may observe it?’ (14) But the word is very near you, in your mouth and in your heart, that you may observe it?” We read Messiah ben Joseph’s understanding regarding question 1 from John 3: 13 and 6: 62, as follows:“And no one has ascended into heaven, but He who descended from heaven, even the Son of Man.” (6: 62) “What then if you should behold the Son of Man ascending where He was before?”The truth of the matter is that according to Psalm 115: 16, ‘The heavens are the heavens of HASHEM; but the earth He has given to the sons of men.’ The answer to question 2 comes from Job 37: 9 & 10, in this way: ‘Out of the south comes the storm, and out of the north the cold. (10) From the breath of G-d ice is made, and the expanse of the waters is frozen.’ The answer to question 3 comes from Job 9: 8, in this way: ‘Who alone stretches out the heavens, and tramples down the waves of the sea.’
In answer to both questions 2 & 3 we read how Messiah ben Joseph walked on the waters of the sea and how He calmed the sea from Mark 6: 47 - 51, as follows:‘And when it was evening, the boat was in the midst of the sea, and He was alone on the land. (48) And seeing them straining at the oars, for the wind was against them, at about the fourth watch of the night, He came to them, walking on the sea; and He intended to pass by them. (49) But when they saw Him walking on the sea, they supposed that it was a ghost, and cried out; (50) for they all saw Him and were frightened. But immediately He spoke with them and said to them, “Take courage; it is I, do not be afraid.” (51) And He got into the boat with them, and the wind stopped; and they were greatly astonished.’The answer to Question 4 comes from Isaiah 44: 24, in this way: ‘Thus says HASHEM, your Redeemer, and the one who formed you from the womb, “I, HASHEM, am the maker of all things, stretching out the heavens by Myself, and spreading out the earth all alone.”’ But we also read from the first part of Psalm 33: 6, ‘By the word of HASHEM the heavens were made.’ This is confirmed in John 1: 1 – 3, as follows: ‘In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with G-d, and the Word was G-d. (2) He was in the beginning with G-d. (3) All things came into being by Him, and apart from Him nothing came into being that has come into being.’ Finally, the answer to question 5 comes from Exodus 3: 13 – 15, in this way: ‘Then Moses said to G-d, “Behold, I am going to the sons of Israel, and I shall say to them, ‘The G-d of your fathers has sent me to you.’ Now they may say to me, ‘What is His name?’ What shall I say to them?” (14) ‘And G-d said to Moses, “I AM WHO I AM”, and He said, “Thus you shall say to the sons of Israel, ‘I AM has sent me to you.’” (15) And G-d, furthermore, said to Moses, “Thus you shall say to the sons of Israel, ‘HASHEM, the G-d of your fathers, the G-d of Abraham, the G-d of Isaac, and the G-d of Jacob, has sent me to you.’ This is My name forever, and this is My memorial-name to all generations.”’ Messiah ben Joseph’s words in the first part of John 5: 43 quoted earlier, completes the answers to the questions in Proverbs 30: 4 where He said that He like any other son: “(I) have come in My Father’s name.”In addition, we read Messiah ben Joseph’s answer to the Jews in John 8: 58, when they had a dispute with Him regarding Abraham our father in the faith, He said to them: “Truly, truly, I say to you, before Abraham was born, I am.” As may be seen from verse 59, they understood what He was saying, and wanted to stone Him, but He hid Himself, and went out of the temple. Continuing in Daniel 7 we read Daniel’s prophecy about the Son of Man in verses 13 & 14, as follows: “I kept looking in the night visions, and behold, with the clouds of heaven One like the Son of Man was coming, and He came up to the Ancient of Days and was presented before Him. (14) And to Him was given dominion, Glory and a kingdom, that all the peoples, nations, and men of every language might serve Him. His dominion is an everlasting dominion which will not pass away; and His kingdom is one which will not be destroyed.’
But what is this Psalm about? If we link Psalm 2: 11 & 12 with other Messianic prophecies in the Tanach, the Son of HASHEM mentioned here is none other than the resurrected Y’shua Messiah. For example, we read the first Messianic prophecy from Exodus 23: 20 – 23: “Behold, I am going to send an angel before you to guard you along the way, and to bring you into the place which I have prepared. (21) Be on your guard before him and obey his voice; do not be rebellious toward Him, for he will not pardon your transgression, since My name is in Him. (22)But if you will truly obey his voice and do all that I say, then I will be an enemy to your enemies and an adversary to your adversaries. (23)For My angel will go before you and bring you in to the land of the Amorites’, the Hettites, the Perizzites, the Canaanites, the Hivites, and the Jebusites; and I will completely destroy them.” Continuing in Deuteronomy 18: 18 & 19, we read a second Messianic prophecy, from HASHEM, through Moses, as follows: ‘I will raise up a prophet from among their countrymen like you, and I will put My words in his mouth, and he shall speak to them all that I command him. (19) And it shall come about that whoever will not listen to My words which he shall speak in My name, I Myself will require it of him.’ The problem is that very few so-called believers are today paying attention to the words that Y’shua spoke whilst He was on earth.To show the extent of this disobedience, I list a few of the more obvious examples of what Y’shua said that people who claim to believe in Him contradict:

Messiah stated categorically that He did not in any way come to abolish the Tanach (or the as Churchianity refers to it), saying in Matthew 5: 17 – 20: The word fulfill here does not mean that Y’shua kept the Law and the Prophets for His followers and that they need not be concerned with it any longer, no, it means that He made the Torah and the Prophets more binding as may be seen from reading verses 21 – 48 of chapter 5. In fact, this is also exactly what Isaiah prophesied about Him in Isaiah 42: 21, saying: Continuing in verses 18 – 20 of Matthew 5, we read:(19) (20) Verse 19 is obviously talking about the Kingdom of G-d in heaven, for which Y’shua taught us to pray in Matthew 6: 10, saying:

Y’shua further stressed the importance of the Torah in John 5: 43 - 47, but also that believing in itis actually a prerequisite for belief in Him, as follows: (as prophesied by HASHEM through Moses and quoted inExodus 23 and Deuteronomy 18 earlier)(one of the many false teachers that Messiah warned His disciples about in Matthew 24) (44) (45) (46) (47)

We read Y’shua’s discussion with Nicodemus in John 3: 3 - 13 regarding being born-again and going to heaven, as follows: (4)(5)(properly immersed)(6(7)(8)(9) (10)(Nicodemus a Rabbi in Messiah’s days, did not understand what Y’shua meant by being born-again.Y’shua was simply saying that flesh and blood human beings are not born-again yet, but that like He eventually became the first-born from the dead after His resurrection{as per Revelation 1: 5}, so those who died in Messiah will be resurrected to be born-again as Spiritual children of G-d when Y’shua returns one day soon {as per first Corinthians 15: 23; 50 – 53}) (11)(12)(13)We see from verse 13, that despite many in Churchianity believing that their members will go to heaven at death, Y’shua confirmed that this will definitely not be the case, especially if one considers that those who qualify to be in the Kingdom of G-d, will reign on earth, under Y’shua one day, as confirmed in Revelation 5: 10 and 20: 6, in this way: (20: 6)

Although Messiah told the scribes and Pharisees that He will be in His grave three full days and three full nights,i.e., 72 hours, as the only sign to prove that He is the Messiah, many in Churchianity, to this day, believe that Messiah was in the grave from Friday evening until Sunday morning, which is only 36 hours, and thereby denying the only sign Y’shua gave us of Him being the Messiah. We read Messiah’s discussion with the scribes and Pharisees in this regard, in Matthew 12: 38 – 40 as follows: (39) 40) The reason why Churchianity miss-calculate the three days and three nights that Messiah was in the grave, is because they do not understand or keep the Feast Days of G-d, given in Leviticus 23 and preserved for Israel by our Jewish Brothers. If they kept G-d’s ordained Feast Days, they would have understood from reading John 19: 30 & 31, that Y’shua died and was buried late on the day before the First Day of Unleavened Bread (also known by Jews as the first annual Sabbath {a high day} of the religious year), on a Wednesday as prophesied by Daniel in Daniel 9: 27, and was resurrected exactly three days and three nights later on Saturday (the weekly Sabbath), just before sunset, in this way: (31) (for the annual Sabbath)Most versions of the Scriptures contain the underlined words in brackets. The women who came to Y’shua’s grave after the weekly Sabbath found that He was already resurrected. Y’shua was risen late on the Sabbath, meaning immediately before sunset, and when the women arrived at His grave after the Sabbath what is known today in the western world as Saturday evening (transliterated in Hebrew as ), His grave was empty
The prophecy in Psalm 2 declares that the Son of G-d, King Messiah will one day come to rule all the nations(goyim) of the world. The Babylonian Talmud, Sukkah 5a regarding Psalm 2, reads: “Our rabbis taught, the Holy One, blessed be He, will say to the Messiah, the son of David (may he reveal himself speedily in our days), ‘Ask of me anything, and I will give it to thee’, as it is said, I will tell of the decree etc. this day have I begotten thee, as of me and I will give you the nations for thy inheritance.” As (HASHEM)’s power,Y’shua the Messiah would crush all rebellion of the rulers of the world against G-d, as witnessed in verses 1 – 6, as follows: ‘Why are the nations in an uproar, and the peoples devising a vain thing? (2) The kings of the earth take their stand, and the rulers take counsel together against HASHEM and against His Anointed (or Messiah): (3) “Let us tear their fetters (yokes) apart, and cast away their cords (traditions) from us.” (4) He who sits in the heavens laughs, HASHEM scoffs at them. (5) Then He will speak to them in His anger and terrify them in His fury.”We see that this will happen when Messiah returns on Yom Teruah or the Feast of Trumpets in the foreseeable future. This is the day upon which the dead in Messiah will be resurrected and those still alive will also be changed into Spirit beings as Spiritual children of G-d, as witnessed in first Thessalonians 4: 15 – 17, in this way: ‘For this we say to you by the word of HASHEM, that we who are alive, and remain until the coming of the Master, shall not precede those who have fallen asleep. (16) For the Master Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trumpet of G-d; and the dead in Messiah shall rise first. (17) Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet HASHEM in the air, and thus we shall always be with HASHEM.’
However, for the dead to be resurrected there are certain steps that must be completed first; and for these we must consider Scriptural witnesses from both the Renewed Covenant and the Tanach. Firstly to establish the timing of the Last Trumpet and Messiah’s return, we look at Messiah’s prophecy about His return in Matthew 24: 29 – 31, where He said: “But immediately after the tribulation of those days THE SUN WILL BE DARKENED, AND THE MOON WILL NOT GIVE ITS LIGHT, AND THE STARS WILL FALL from the sky, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken, (30) and then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in the sky, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the SON OF MAN COMING ON THE CLOUDS OF THE SKY with power and great glory. (31) And He will send forth His angels with A GREAT TRUMPET and THEY WILL GATHER TOGETHER His elect from the four winds, from one end of the sky to the other.’Secondly, we read what might appear to be a totally unrelated verse from Romans 11: 15, about our Jewish Brothers, in this way: ‘For if their rejection be reconciliation of the world, what will their acceptance be but life from the dead.’ This is telling us that on the day that our Jewish Brothers will accept Y’shua as their Messiah soon, the dead in Messiah will be raised. We see further from Zechariah 12: 7 – 10, that when Y’shua returns to Jerusalem, the nations of the earth will be gathered against Jerusalem to make war with Messiah and His people, as follows: ‘HASHEM also will save the tents of Judah first in order that the glory of the house of David and the glory of the inhabitants of Jerusalem may not be magnified above Judah. (8) In that day HASHEM will defend the inhabitants of Jerusalem, and the one who is feeble among them in that day will be like David, and the house of David will be like G-d, like the angel of HASHEM before them. (9) And it will come about in that day that I will set about to destroy all the nations that come against Jerusalem. (10) And I will pour out on the house of David and on the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the Spirit of grace and of supplication, so that they will look on Me whom they have pierced; and they will mourn for Him, as one mourns for an only son, and they will weep bitterly over Him, like the bitter weeping over a first-born.’One day in the foreseeable future, when our Jewish Brothers will observe Rosh Hashanah or the Feast of Trumpets, they will be visited by Y’shua at His return and when they see His hands, they will accept Him as their Messiah. At that very moment, the dead in Messiah will be raised and those alive at the time will be changed from flesh and blood human beings, to become Spiritual children of G-d, like the way in which Messiah became the Son of G-d, by His resurrection from the dead (as per Romans 1: 4).
This will occur immediately prior to the terrible time described in Revelation 19: 11 – 16, in this way: ‘And I saw heaven opened; and behold, a white horse, and He who sat upon it is called Faithful and True; and in righteousness He judges and wages war. (12) And His eyes are a flame of fire, and upon His head are many diadems; and He has a name written upon Him which no one knows except Himself. (13) And He is clothed with a robe dipped in blood; and His name is called The Word of G-d. (14) And the armies which are in heaven, clothed in fine linen, white and clean, were following Him on white horses (at this time the saints will have been changed into Spiritual Beings and will be able to move around at will, without having to be dressed in special clothing to travel through the outer space). (15) And from His mouth comes a sharp sword, so that with it He may smite the nations; and He will rule them with a rod of iron; and He treads the wine press of the fierce wrath of G-d, the Almighty. (16) And on His robe and on His thigh He has a name written, “KING OF KINGS, AND MASTER OF MASTERS.” We read further about Messiah’s return in Joel 2: 30 – 32, as follows: “And I will display wonders in the sky and on the earth, blood, fire, and columns of smoke. (31) The sun will be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and awesome day of HASHEM comes. (32) And it will come about that whoever calls on the name of HASHEM will be delivered; for on Mount Zion and in Jerusalem there will be those who escape, as HASHEM has said, even among the survivors whom HASHEM calls.” Y’shua will enter a new Marriage Covenant with a remnant from both houses of Israel, but since the house of Judah are already Torah observant, He will only write His Torah on the hearts and minds of the house of Israel. Even so, the ‘kissing’ of the Son will by no means end after Messiah’s millennial rule.
The point is: that eventually every knee will bow before Y’shua the Messiah, as witnessed in Philippians 2: 8 – 11, in this way: ‘And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross. (9) Therefore also G-d highly exalted Him, and bestowed on Him the name which is above every name, (10) that at the name of Y’shua EVERY KNEE SHOULD BOW (as also prophesied in Isaiah 45: 23), of those who are in heaven, and on earth, and under the earth, (11) and that every tongue should confess that Y’shua Messiah is Master, to the glory of G-d the Father.’ King David also wrote about the second resurrection in Psalm 22: 27 – 29, saying: ‘All the ends of the earth will remember and turn to HASHEM, and all the families of the nations will worship before Thee. (28) For the kingdom is (HASHEM)’s, and He rules over the nations. (29) All the prosperous of the earth will eat and worship, all those who go down to the dust will bow before Him, even he who cannot keep his soul alive.’ We read Rav Shaul’s teaching identifying Y’shua as G-d’s Son from Acts 13: 32 – 34, as follows:“And we preach to you the good news of the promise made to the fathers, (33) that G-d has fulfilled this promise to our children in that He raised up Y’shua, as it is also written in the second Psalm, “THOU ART MY SON; TODAY I HAVE BEGOTTEN THEE.” (34) And as for the fact that He raised Him up from the dead, no more to return to decay, He has spoken in this way: “I WILL GIVE YOU THE HOLY and SURE blessings OF DAVID.”’
Those who won’t bow before Y’shua and accept Him as their personal Passover will simply become ashes under the feet of the righteous, as witnessed in Malachi 4: 1 - 3, in this way: ‘“For behold, the day is coming, burning like a furnace (this is the day spoken about in Revelation 20: 14 & 15); and all the arrogant and every evildoer will be chaff; and the day that is coming will set ablaze,: says HASHEM of hosts, “so that it will leave them neither root nor branch. (2) But for you who fear My name the sun of righteousness will rise with healing in its wings; and you will go forth and skip about like calves from the stall. (3) And you will tread down the wicked, for they shall be ashes under the soles of your feet on the day which I am preparing,” says HASHEM of hosts.’ We have a choice to pay homage to the Son of G-d and be saved at this time, or do so later, when HASHEM will open the Scriptures to the minds of those in the second resurrection. But remember, there is no such a thing as a second chance. If we have been given the knowledge about the coming kingdom of G-d at this time, this is our only chance to be born-again as a Spiritual son or daughter of G-d at Messiah’s coming!
However, as a group teacher of Kol Hator, Ovadyah asked us to consider the following point of view to present to our brothers from the house of Judah.
Our recent conclusions which rank as highly controversial in the corridors of Traditional Judaism as well as that of Christianity, have just unearthed amazing Scriptural confirmation. This transpired from in-depth discussions that evolved from last week’s conclusion and it all hinges on the anomaly that the word ‘Mashiach’ does ‘Not’ appear in the Scriptures (as confirmed in the study by Rabbi Michael Skobac) which was featured on Kol Hator’s commentary at the end of April 2021.
An alert student came forward with evidence to the contrary, which proves the usage of the word Mashiach ‘hidden’ in Psalm 2. While the intent of this ‘evidence’ was to prove us wrong, quite the opposite emerged. When taking the content of this passage in its full context it irretrievably proves our controversial and somewhat astounding conclusions which we have been building up over the last few weeks and months.If anyone still wants to refute or discredit these conclusions, please not that it all was derived from Rabbinic commentaries on the weekly Parashiyot – HaShem’s great teaching medium.
While certainly at great risk, this all simply proves that there is great merit in ‘dare to think.’ The word of HaShem in the end rules supreme – and the unveiling of Truth is progressive – no greater proof of this than discovering the Biblical Truth surrounding ‘the true identity of the Mystical Mashiach’ which has for so long eluded even staunch Biblical commentators, and what has been accepted for such an elusive Personage throughout the ages have only aided great division.
So, let us delve into Psalm 2. It would be preferential that you first read the entire Psalm for yourself in your selected Bible version. We will then scrutinize it together here below. 1 Why do the nations rage,
And the peoples plot a vain thing?
2 The kings of the earth take a stand,
And the rulers take counsel together,
Against HaShem, and against his Anointed [Mashiach, Hebr.], saying,
3 “Let’s break their bonds apart,
and cast their cords from us.”
4 He who sits in the heavens will laugh.
The Lord will have them in derision.
5 Then he will speak to them in his anger,
and terrify them in his wrath:
6 “Yet I have set my King on my holy hill in Zion.”
7 I will tell of the decree:
HaShem said to me, “You are My son.
Today I have become your father.
8 Ask of me, and I will give the nations for your inheritance,
the uttermost parts of the earth for your possession.
9 You shall rule them with a rod of iron.
You shall dash them in pieces like a potter’s vessel.”
10 Now therefore be wise, you kings.
Be instructed, you judges of the earth.
11 Serve HaShem with fear,
and rejoice with trembling.
12 Give sincere homage to the Son, lest he be angry, and you perish on the way,
For his wrath will soon be kindled.
Blessed are all those who take refuge in him.”
“The Son” In this passage does not refer to “the Son of HaShem” as Christians render their Messiah, but, indeed to that Body which HaShem is raising up in the End Times, ‘His Servant,’ who will rule over the Nations (as HaShem). We have seen how Daniel in Ch. 7 refers to this ruling ‘Body’ of righteous declared Kedushim (Saints) as “One like the Son of Man.” It is this ‘Servant’, the Son, who shall be that “Mashiach, the ruling One.”
NOTE – This revealing Psalm has 12 verses only – relating to the 12 Tribes who will be part of that Ruling Mashiach Body.This Psalm projects it all for the Future – when HaShem shall set His ruling King on the Throne in Jerusalem (v.6),
Declaring him ‘His Son’ (v.7), to whom He shall award the Eternal Rule ‘with a rod of iron’ (v.9) over the Nations.
And He reprimands these nations to worship His Son! (4.12). Note this verse’s translation into some 50 English versions.
And note the punch line, about which HaShem laughs at the opposing kings of the nations who challenge “His and His Mashiach’s Rule.” (v.2). This topic is all embracing.
