What time is it?

About fifteen years ago my son who managed an outlet selling motor vehicle and other batteries in Port Elizabeth got robbed in the shop just after closing time, whilst they were busy cashing up. Even though the thieves who robbed the shop were armed with revolvers, they fortunately did not shoot my son but knocked him unconscious and departed with the loot. Then some of his co-workers contacted the hospital and an ambulance came and took him there. My wife and I attended worship services as it was on a Sabbath, when the hospital contacted us by cellphone and we rushed to see my son who by then was sitting up in the emergency room, but did not know us or where he is at the time. I remember him continually asking us and anybody who got close to him, saying: ‘What time is it?’ This continued until the next day, when we visited him in hospital and he recognized us again.

The topic I would like to discuss today is exactly what my son repeated over and over again, until he fell asleep that night. Let’s now with the little knowledge that we gained by studying Torah for a number of years, try to determine how close we are to the time of Jacob’s trouble or the Great Tribulation as it is referred to in the Scriptures. The truth of the matter is that those of us who have been keeping Elohim’s Feast days for a number of years, should know that time is getting short and should fully understand the signs of the times explained by Rav Shaul in 1 Thessalonians 5: 1- 6, saying: “Now as to the times and the epochs, brethren, you have no need of anything to be written to you. (2) For you yourselves know full well that the day of YHVH will come just like a thief in the night. (3) While they are saying, “Peace and Safety!” then destruction will come upon them suddenly like birth pangs upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape. (4) But you, brethren, are not in darkness, that the day should overtake you like a thief; (5) for you are all sons of light and sons of day. We are not of night nor of darkness; (6) so then let us not sleep as others do, but let us be alert and sober.” We, who keep the Set-apart days of Elohim as a shadow of things to come, know that Yahshua will return one day on the Feast of Trumpets, as Rav Shaul also confirmed in 1 Thessalonians 4: 13 – 17, saying: “But we do not want you to be uninformed, brethren, about those who are asleep, that you may not grieve, as do the rest who have no hope. (14) For if we believe that Yahshua died and rose again, even so Elohim will bring with Him those who have fallen asleep in Yahshua. (15) For this we say to you by the word of YHVH, that we who are alive, and remain until the coming of the Master, shall not precede those who have fallen asleep. (16) For the Master Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trumpet of Elohim; and the dead in Messiah shall rise first. (17) Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Master in the air, and thus we shall always be with the Master.” These are very comforting words, which those who do not keep the Feast days of YHVH do not fully grasp. This is perhaps why there is no urgency in the way most live -they do not plan for anything and live from one day to another, with no real hope of the future. After World War II, most people in the western world went on a spending spree, believing that we may continue to buy all our wants on endless credit. Whatever we desired we bought with money which we did not have, but thought we will earn at some future date. Even though most people who live in the western world say they believe in ‘The Bible’, most of them are totally unaware that this very practice is condemned by Elohim in the Ten Commandments. Consumerism became king and whether it is about vitamins, toothpaste or a new vehicle, the message of the media is that the way to happiness is your next purchase. But what they do not advertise: is that according to Proverbs 22: 7, ‘The rich rules over the poor, and the borrower becomes the lender’s slave.’ Most of us do not realize that wrong actions eventually have consequences. Have you ever heard the saying: We reap what we sow? Because not many study the Scriptures on a regular basis, they do not realize that this is in fact a Scriptural principle, as we read from Galatians 6: 7, “Do not be deceived, Elohim is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, this he will also reap.” The Ten Commandments cautions us against being greedy and coveting things that do not belong to us, until such time as we have earned enough money to buy it for ourselves. Yahshua also warned us in Luke 12: 15, saying: “Beware, and be on your guard against every form of greed; for not even when one has an abundance does his life consist of his possessions.” It is all about whom or what we worship. Those worshipping materialism, will eventually fail, as King Solomon, the wisest man ever, wrote in the first part of Proverbs 11: 28, saying: ‘He who trusts in his riches will fall.’  A lack of understanding and the application of Scriptural principles to our lives inevitably lead to trouble and the same principle that applies to an individual also applies to a nation.

But, how close are we to the end of this age? Commencing in Numbers 10: 33 we read: ‘Thus they set out from the mount of YHVH three days’ journey, with the ark of the covenant of YHVH journeying in front of them for the tree days, to seek out a resting place for them.’ Next we read from Deuteronomy 10: 8, ‘At that time YHVH set apart the tribe of Levi to carry the ark of the covenant of YHVH, to stand before YHVH to serve Him and to bless in His name until this day.’Later we see from Deuteronomy 31: 26 YHVH saying to Moses: “Take this book of the law and place it beside the ark of the covenant of YHVH your Elohim; that it may remain there as a witness against you.” The book of the law contains all the words that YHVH spoke to Moses between the Cherubimabove the Ark of the Covenant. In addition to the commandments it also contained the statutes and judgments given in Deuteronomy 11 & 12. Reading from Deuteronomy 11: 8, 9 18 - 21 we see that we are promised certain blessings if we obey these commandments, statutes and judgments, as follows: “You shall therefore keep every commandment which I am commanding you today, so that you may be strong and go in and possess the land into which you are about to cross to possess it; (9) so that you may prolong your days on the land which YHVH swore to your fathers to give to them and to their descendants, a land flowing with milk and honey. (13) And it shall come about, if you listen obediently to my commandments which I am commanding you today, to love YHVH your Elohim and to serve Him with all your heat and all your soul, (14) that He will give the rain for your land in its season, the early and late rain, that you may gather in your grain and your new wine and your oil. (15) And He will give grass in your fields for your cattle, and you shall eat and be satisfied. (16) Beware, lest your hearts be deceived and you turn away and serve other gods and worship them. (17) Or the anger of YHVH will be kindled against you, and He will shut up the heavens so that there will be no rain and the ground will not yield its fruit; and you will perish quickly from the good land which YHVH is giving you. (18) You shall therefore impress these words of mine on your heart and on your soul; and you shall bind them as a sign on your hand, and they shall be as frontals on your forehead. (19) And you shall teach them to your sons, talking of them when you sit in your house and when you walk along the road and when you lie down and when you rise up. (20) And you shall write them on the doorposts of your house and your gates, (21) so that your days and the days of your sons may be multiplied on the land which YHVH swore to your fathers to give them, as long as the heavens remain above the earth.”These blessings essentially entail eternal life in the Promised Land as promised to our fathers in the faith, provided we obey all Elohim’s commandments, statutes and judgments and do not add to it or take away from it. But, because the house of Israel has forgotten about these promises, they are totally unaware of it. As a side light we read from Proverbs 30: 6, ‘Do not add to His words lest He reproves you, and you be proved a liar.’

The Prophet Ezekiel who like Hosea wrote specifically to the house of Israel who were by that time scattered into mainly the western nations of the world and whilst on their way through Europe were deceived by Esau under the guise of the Roman Catholic Church and her protesting daughters to believe in a false messiah, who came specifically to do away with the temple service, Torah and to alter the customs of Sabbath and Scriptural Feast Days as testified in Ezekiel 22: 26, as follows: “Her priests have done violence to My law and have profaned My  holy things; they have made no distinction between the holy and the profane, and they have not taught the difference between the unclean and the clean; and they hide their eyes from My Sabbaths, and I am profaned among them.” The teaching of Churchianity to replace the house Israel’s identity as part of a covenant people has been around for the past almost 2,000 years and they succeeded in brain washing (or bewitching) most to the lost sheep of the house of Israel to absolutely reject the Torah as a way of life. This despite Messiah’s teaching in John 5: 43 - 47, saying: “I have come in My Father’s name, and you do not receive Me; if another shall come in his own name, you will receive him. (44) How can you believe, when you receive glory from one another, and you do not seek the glory that is from the one and only Elohim? (45) Do not think I will accuse you before the Father; the one who accuses you is Moses, in whom you have set your hope. (46) For if you believed Moses, you would believe Me; for he wrote of Me. (47) But if you do not believe his writings, how will you believe My words?” Moses received another warning from YHVH in Deuteronomy 13: 1 - 3, saying: “If a prophet or a dreamer of dreams arises among you and gives you a sign or a wonder, (2) and the sign or the wonder comes true, concerning which he spoke to you, saying, ‘Let us go after other gods (whom you have not known) and let us serve them,’ (3)you shall not listen to the words of that prophet or that dreamer of dreams; for YHVH your Elohim is testing you to find out if you love YHVH your Elohim with all your heart and with all your soul.”

Esau created Christianity and J*e*s*u*s* C*h*r*i*s*t* to replace the house of Israel and Messiah Ben Joseph and during the latter days whilst YHVH is busy calling a remnant of the lost sheep of the house of Israel to return to the covenant we made with Him together with the house of Judah (as He also told Moses in Deuteronomy 4: 27 - 31[1])and immediately before Messiah Ben David returns to build the Temple with the house of Israel as discussed in Zechariah 6: 11 - 15[2], the curse (‘alla’) has been unleashed on us during these  latter days, as is confirmed in Zechariah 5: 3& 4, as follows: ‘Then he said to me, “This is the curse that is going forth over the face of the whole land (the side note reads earth); surely everyone who steals will be purged away according to the writing on one side, and everyone who swears will be purged away according to the writing on the other side.(4) I will make it go forth,” declares YHVH of hosts, “and it will enter the house of the thief and the house of the one who swears falsely by My name; and it will spend the night within that house and consume it with its timber and stones[3].”’ We have to conclude that the voice of the mighty one from the ‘religion of Peace’ is ruling presently from (YHVH)’s Set-Apart Mountain and the curse (‘alla’) is going now over the world - this is talking about Islam’s hold on the area where the Dome of the Rock is presently erected. But, we read from Deuteronomy 30: 1 - 16 where YHVH tells Moses just prior to ancient Israel entering the Promised Land, saying:“So it shall be when all of these things have come upon you, the blessing and the curse which I have set before you, and you call them to mind in all nations where YHVH your Elohim has banished you, (2) and you return to YHVH your Elohim and obey Him with all your heart and soul according to all that I command you today, you and your sons, (3) then YHVH your Elohim will  restore you from captivity, and have compassion on you, and will gather you again from all the people where YHVH your Elohim has  scattered you. (4) If your outcasts are at the ends of the earth, from there YHVH your Elohim will gather you, and from there He will bring you back. (5) And YHVH your Elohim will bring you into the land which your fathers possessed, and you shall possess it; and He will prosper you and multiply you more than your fathers. (6) Moreover YHVH your Elohim will circumcise your heart and the heart of your descendants, to love YHVH your Elohim with all your heart and with all your soul, in order that you may live. (7) And YHVH your Elohim will inflicts all these curses on your enemies and on those who hate you, who persecuted you. (8) And you shall again obey (the word of) YHVH(Messiah Ben Joseph), and observe all His commandments which I command you today. (9) Them YHVH your Elohim will prosper you abundantly in all the work of your hand, in the offspring of your body and in the offspring of your cattle and in the produce of your ground, for YHVH will again rejoice over you for good, just as He rejoiced over your fathers. (10) If you obey YHVH your Elohim to keep His commandments and His statutes which are written in this book of the law, if you turn to YHVH your Elohim with all your heart and soul. (11) For this commandment which I command you today is not too difficult for you, nor is it out of reach. (12) It is not in heaven, that you should say. ‘Who[4](this is the only teaching in the Brit Chadashah, which was not distorted by Churchianity) will go up to heaven for us to get it for us and make us hear it, that we may observe it?’ (13) Nor is it beyond the sea, that you should say, ‘Who will cross the sea for us to get it for us and make us heart it, that we may observe it?’ (14) But the word is very near you, in your mouth and in your hear, that you may observe it. (15) See, I have set before you today life and prosperity, and death and adversity; (16)in that I command you today to love YHVH your Elohim, to walkin His ways and to keep His commandments and His statutes and His judgments, that you may live and multiply, and that YHVH your Elohim may bless you in the land where you are entering to possess it.”

The Ark of the Covenant is vital for the commonwealth of Israel to be able to talk to YHVH our Elohim, between the Cherubim, but it is hidden away at present and Jews and Israelites are not allowed to pray near the place controlled by the enemy today. However, there are Rabbis who firmly believe that there are tunnels under the Dome of the Rock where the Ark of the Covenant was hidden. According to Rabbi Chaim Richman from the Temple institute in Jerusalem, YHVH promised, if we pick up the Ark of the Covenant from deep inside the mountain and bring it to the Foundation Stone and restore the offering service, then He shall speak of His Presence (Messiah Ben David) from between the Cherubim and not hide His face from us any longer. That is when it shall be as we read from Ezekiel 36: 36 - 38: “Then the nations that are left round about you will know that I, YHVH, have rebuilt the ruined places and planted that which was desolate; I, YHVH, have spoken and will do it.” (37) Thus says YHVH Elohim, “This also I will let the house of Israel ask Me to do for them: I will increase their men like a flock. (38) Like the flock for sacrifices, like the flock at Jerusalem during the appointed feasts, so will the waste cities be filled with flocks of men, then they will know that I am YHVH.”’” To this end, we also read from Isaiah 63: 9, ‘In all their affliction He was afflicted, and the angel of His presence (Messiah) saved them; in His love and in His mercy He redeemed them; and He lifted them and carried them all the days of old[5](refers to the days of Adam Kadmon - who represents the archetypal soul of Messiah inwhich all the souls of Israel are hidden).’Let’s pray for a good understanding, renounce Constantine’s J*e*s*u*s*, study Torah and the coming of Messiah Ben David to come and establish the commonwealth of Israel in our time.

However, Satan being fully aware of the potential that true believers have in the world to come will do everything in his power to try and get as many as possible to fail. This is why he continually deceives those who dwell on earth, so that they cannot have the type of position that he had before he was thrown down to earth. Satan will have an enormous effect on the world, just prior to Messiah’s return. By totally supporting the false religious system of the world, the false prophet will easily persuade humanity to accept and support the end time development in the world’s economic, religious and political structures. He will help the merchants to make this system, referred to as Babylon the Great in Revelation 17: 5, to function. This system will trade in gold, silver, precious stones, pearls, fine linen, silk, scarlet, wood, bronze, iron, marble, flour, wheat, cattle, sheep, horses, chariots and even in human lives, as we read from Revelation 18: 11 – 13. Today as the economies of the world stagger on the brink of collapse, it becomes necessary to consider on how the greed of men will affect the future of mankind in the near future. We do not exactly know when the final collapse of the system will occur, but the Scriptures reveal that sometime in the near future a general breakdown of the world’s economy will activate a major paradigm shift in the social, political and economic assumptions. Out of the chaos that will result from all the wrong decisions of the recent past, an extremely smart and powerful political leader will emerge. His economic policies will allow some people to take pride in their power and wealth. No opposition to this system will be tolerated and those who refuse to submit to it will be killed, as we read from Revelation 13: 15, as follows: ‘And there was given to him to give breath to the image of the beast, that the image of the beast might even speak and cause as many as do not worship the image of the beast to be killed.’ This will result in the Great Tribulation, spoken about in Matthew 24: 21, like this: ‘For then there will be a great tribulation, such as has not occurred since the beginning of the world until now, nor ever shall.’

But, as we read from Revelation 19: 1 & 2, Yahshua our Messiah will return to put an end to man’s economic, political and religious woes, in this way: ‘After these things I heard, as it were, a loud voice of a great multitude in heaven, saying, “Halleluyah! Salvation and glory and power belong to our Elohim; (2) BECAUSE HIS JUDGMENTS ARE TRUE AND RIGHTEOUS; for He has judged the great harlot who was corrupting the earth with her immorality, and HE HAS AVENGED THE BLOOD OF HIS BOND-SERVANTS ON HER.”’ The economic/political/religious system introduced by ancient Babylon will be destroyed for-ever. But at that time the merchants who benefited from these things will stand at a distance because of the fear of her torment, weeping and mourning. We read their reaction in verses 16 – 18, of Revelation 18, as follows: ‘Saying, “Woe, woe, the great city, she who was clothed in fine linen and purple and scarlet, and adorned with gold and precious stones and pearls; (17) for in one hour such great wealth has been laid waste!’ And every shipmaster and every passenger and sailor, and as many as make their living by the sea, stood at a distance, (18) and were crying out as they saw the smoke of her burning, saying, ‘What city is like the great city?’ (19) “And they threw dust on their heads and were crying out, weeping and mourning, saying, ‘Woe, woe, the great city, in which all who had ships at sea became rich by her wealth, for in one hour she has been laid waste!’ Immediately prior to the first resurrection; the resurrection of the first fruits at Messiah’s return; as Moses brought the ancient Israelites out from slavery in Egypt, so will Messiah come to deliver the modern day descendants of Israel from the religious, political and economic confusion (Babylon), by which they were enslaved. We read accordingly from Jeremiah 23: 5 – 8, “Behold, the days are coming,” declares YHVH, “When I shall raise up for David a righteous Branch; and He will reign as king and act wisely and do justice and righteousness in the land. (6) In His days Judah will be saved, and Israel will dwell securely; and this is His name by which He will be called, ‘YHVH our righteousness.’ (7) Therefore behold, the days are coming,” declares YHVH, “when they will no longer say, ‘As YHVH lives, who brought up the sons of Israel from the land of Egypt,’ (8) but, ’as YHVH lives, who brought up and led back the descendants of the household of Israel from the north land and from all the countries where I had driven them.’ Then they will live on their own soil.” We notice from Isaiah 47: 1, that this end-time prophecy is directed at the ‘daughter’ of Babylon, as follows: “Come down and sit in the dust, O virgin daughter of Babylon; sit on the ground without a throne, O daughter of the Chaldeans, for you shall no longer be called tender and delicate.”

This is not the Babylon of ancient times, but the daughter of that Babylon, alive during the twenty-first century. This is the Babylon pictured in Revelation 17, as the great whore sitting and ruling over many waters, which are interpreted in verse 15 as peoples and multitudes and nations and tongues. A woman in prophecy usually refers to a religious or church system. This is the same religion of ancient Babylon; but has since grown to become great and ruling over many nations of different languages. We read (YHVH)’s words to this system in Isaiah 47: 5 – 6, saying: “Sit silently, and go into darkness, O daughter of the Chaldeans; for you will no more be called the queen of kingdoms. (6) I was angry with My people, I profaned My heritage, and gave them into your hand. You did not show mercy to them, on the aged you made your yoke very heavy.” The yoke of slavery will be laid upon the modern day lost ten tribes. At this time it becomes very clear that the great tribulation is the sevenfold intensive corrective punishment which Elohim is now soon going to unleash on specifically Ephraim and Manasseh, better known as the English speaking nations of the world. Ezekiel describes this coming great tribulation, in Ezekiel 5: 12 & 13, as follows: “One third of you will die by plague or be consumed by famine among you, one third will fall by the sword around you, and one third I will scatter to every wind, and I will unsheathe a sword behind them. (13) Thus My anger will be spent, and I will satisfy My wrath on them, and I shall be appeased; then they will know that I, YHVH, have spoken in My zeal when I have spent My wrath upon them.” We read further about the punishment to be unleashed upon the latter day descendants of Ephraim and Manasseh from Ezekiel 6: 6, in this way: “In all your dwellings, cities will become waste and the high places (places of religious worship) will be desolate, that your altars may become waste and desolate, your idols may be broken and brought to an end, your incense altars may be cut down, and your works may be blotted out.” Those who saw movies or pictures about Hiroshima and Nagasaki in Japan will realize that this is talking about nuclear war. Elohim is warning us in a Prophecy that our national sins are mounting up and soon the day of reckoning will come. World War III will commence with nuclear devastation on mainly the English speaking peoples of the world including South Africa. This severe punishment is simply the correction of mainly the modern day descendants of the house of Israel and Judah and is in fact for our own good.

Nevertheless, if we as individual believers in Yahshua repent and return to full Torah observance, we will be protected during the coming great tribulation, as we read from Luke 21: 34 - 36, as follows:  “Be on guard, that your hearts may not be weighted down with dissipation and drunkenness and the worries of life, and that day come on you suddenly like a trap; (35) for it will come upon all those who dwell on the face of all the earth. (36) But keep on the alert at all times, praying in order that you may have strength to escape all these things that are about to take place, and to stand before the Son of Man.” Only after Messiah’s return will the suffering caused by sin and debt come to an end and Yahshua and the resurrected first fruit believers will begin to rule the world for a thousand years. During this time Satan will be out of the way and those in the first resurrection will assist Yahshua to restore the earth to the condition in which it was before Adam and Eve sinned and was driven from the Garden of Eden. But, until Messiah returns one day our heavenly Father wants us to be careful what we eat and how we live for the rest of our lives. He is a jealous Elohim and wants us to serve Him in Spirit and in truth. YHVH is longsuffering towards us and wants to give us the full opportunity to make it into His Kingdom. If YHVH was only half as harsh a Judge as we are when we judge our fellow human beings, we would have been destroyed long ago. We need to start judging ourselves, instead of our neighbor. Let us not be arrogant, thinking ourselves better than other people. Remember Satan cannot repent any longer as he sinned with full knowledge. Human beings do not have all knowledge. In addition we can misunderstand and are also partly blinded. However, because YHVH has called us, we are supposed to have more knowledge and understanding about Him and His will for us. Therefore we need to be very careful how we judge others, who have less understanding and knowledge about YHVH and His ways.

But, we need to become much more urgent about our salvation at this time. YHVH has already called us out of darkness into His marvelous light. We need to operate as a set-apart nation, as a kingdom of priests and in all earnest start getting the good news about the coming Kingdom of Elohim out into the entire world, before the end of this age will come. This is when the true peace of Jerusalem will come, when Yahshua will rule the world from Jerusalem for a thousand years. It is time for us to pray, asking YHVH to give us back the city where our fathers worshipped Him as given in Isaiah 64: 1- 12 “Oh, that Thou wouldst rend the heavens and come down, that the mountains might quake at Thy presence – (2) as fire kindles the brushwood, as fire causes water to boil – to make Thy name known to Thine adversaries, that the nations may tremble at Thy presence! (3) When Thou didst awesome things which we did not expect, Thou didst come down, the mountains quaked at Thy presence. (4) For from old they have not heard nor perceived by ear, neither has the eye seen an Elohim besides Thee, who acts in behalf of the one who waits for Him. (5) Thou dost meet him who rejoices in doing righteousness, who remembers Thee in Thy ways. Behold, Thou wast angry, for we sinned, we continued in them a long time; and shall we be saved? (6) For all of us have become like one who is unclean, and all our righteous deeds are like a filthy garment; and all of us wither like a leaf, and our iniquities, like the wind, take us away. (7) And there is no one who calls on Thy name, who arouses himself to take hold of Thee; for Thou hast hidden Thy face from us, and hast delivered us into the power of our iniquities. (8) But now, O YHVH, Thou art our Father, we are the clay, and Thou our potter; and all of us are the work of Thy hand. (9) Do not be angry beyond measure, O YHVH, neither remember iniquity forever; behold, look now, all of us are Thy people. (10) Thy Set-apart cities have become a wilderness, Zion has become a wilderness, Jerusalem a desolation. (11) Our Set-apart and beautiful house, where our fathers praised Thee, has been burned by fire; and all our precious things have become a ruin. (12) Wilt Thou restrain thyself at these things, O YHVH? Wilt Thou keep silent and afflict us beyond measure?

Brethren it is time to start judging ourselves, lest we be judged. We need to start questioning ourselves and make amends. We need to look into the perfect Law and see where we fall short. Then we need to repent and return to Torah and the testimony of Yahshua – that is if we are serious about our future in the coming Kingdom of Elohim. Think carefully about it!

[1] Deuteronomy 4: 27 - 31: “And YHVH will scatter you among the peoples, and you shall be left few in number among the nations, where YHVH shall drive you. And there you will serve gods, the work of man’s hands, wood and stone, which neither see nor hear nor eat nor smell. But from there you will seek YHVH your Elohim, and you will find Him if you search for Him with all your heart and all your soul. When you are in distress and all these things have come upon you, in the latter days, you will return to YHVH your Elohim and listen to His voice. For YHVH your Elohim is a compassionate Elohim; He will not fail you nor destroy you nor forget the covenant with your fathers which He swore to them.”

[2] Zechariah 6: 11 - 15: “And take silver and gold, make an ornate crown, and set it on the head of Joshua the son of Jehozadak, the high priest. Then say to him, ‘Thus says YHVH of hosts, “Behold, a man whose name is Branch, for He will branch out from where He is; and He will build the temple of YHVH. Yes, it is He who will build the temple of YHVH, and He who will bear the honor and sit and rule on His throne. Thus, He will be a priest on His throne, and the council of peace will be between the two offices.”’ Now the crown will become a reminder in the temple of YHVH to Helem, Tobijah, Jedaiah, and Hen the son of Zephaniah. And those who are far off will come and build the temple of YHVH.” Then you will know that YHVH of hosts has sent me to you. And it will take place, if you completely obey YHVH your Elohim.”

[3] The side note against this verse refers us to Malachi 3: 5, where we read: ‘“Then I will draw near to you for judgment; and I will be a swift witness against the sorcerers and against the adulterers and against those who swear falsely, and against those who oppress the wage earner in his wages, the widow and the orphan, and those who turn aside the alien, and do not fear Me,” says YHVH of hosts.’

[4]The side note against Who in this verses takes us to Romans 10: 6 - 10, as follows: ‘But the righteousness based on faith speaks thus, “DO NOT SAY IN YOUR HEART, “WHO WILL ASCEND INTO HEAVEN?’ (that is, to bring Messiah down), or ‘WHO WILL DESCEND INTO THE ABYSS?’ (that is, to bring Messiah up from the dead).” But what does it say? “THE WORD IS NEAR YOU, IN YOUR MOUTH AND IN YOUR HEART” - that is, the word of faith which we are preaching, that if you confess with your mouth Yahshua as Master (MarYah), and believe in your heart that Elohim raised Him from the dead, you shall be saved; for with your heart man believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation.’

[5]Deuteronomy 32: 9 - 11: “For (YHVH)’s portion is His people; Jacob is the allotment of His inheritance. He found him in a desert land, and in the howling waste of a wilderness; He encircled him, He cared for him, He guarded him as the pupil of His eye. Like an eagle that stirs up its nest, that hovers over its young, He spread His wings and caught them, He carried them on His pinions.”
