Deep, deep trouble!
If our world is in financial trouble and the South African Rand has dropped from around fifteen to twenty Rand to the British Pound, and from twelve to fifteen Rand to the American Dollar in the last few months, then how much deeper are we in South Africa in trouble? Every year for the past ten years have the citizens in South Africa been promised an increase in the employment market, but because of successful strikes for higher salaries annually, despite continues financial problems in the world including South Africa since 2008, without any proportionate increases in productivity, our situation is worsening by the day. In addition, adverse weather conditions are effecting the production of food, which has also over the past twenty years decreased, because of vicious attacks on those producing the basic food supplies of this country.
As a result of the ever increasing wages of workers, without commensurate increases in productivity, goods and services are required to increase in price to enable employers to continue to pay their suppliers and workforce. However, because consumers are also beginning to feel the pinch and are not able to spend so much any longer, employers have started laying-off their permanent workforce, and are required to employ temporary staff, to try and curtail costs, a step for which they are also castigated for by the unions. Even so, when it comes to South African Universities, where future leaders, medical professionals, engineers and scientists – the people who usually earn top salaries are educated, students are striking to get education at last year’s costs or even for free – which essentially means that those teaching them, can also not expect to get any increases in their salaries. This leaves the powers that be with very little space in which to maneuver, but to increase the income taxes of those few still working. But to top it all, our country entertains leaders of groups that are all out to destroy the small nation of Israel, consisting mainly of Judah in the Middle East, without taking into account (YHVH)’s promise to Abraham the father of the Israelite nations of the world (including Judah) in the first part of Genesis 12: 3, saying: “And I will bless those who bless you, and the one who curses you I will curse.” A previous Prime Minister of South Africa, used to encourage workers to tighten their belts and help the country during the difficult times the world went through after the great depression and during World War II. Similarly did Sir Winston Churchill encourage the British people before, during and after the war, to keep their country functioning. But to the contrary, I noticed that instead of getting people to understand the dire situation we are in, leaders are supporting those who are striking instead of encouraging people to work to try and maintain the existing industries and the aging infrastructure, for the sake of the country.
Whereas most people should be aware of the maxim ‘history repeats itself’, it seems that it is all but forgotten in our country. The problem is that if we did not or cannot learn from the past – what went wrong in the past will happen again, without us knowing how to handle what is coming. This country used to pride itself as people who knew their G-d once. But, I am afraid that most of us do not even know what it means to know our Creator.People we are in deep, deep trouble without even realizing it. In fact, I heard some saying that we have never had it so good. We need to wake up and get to know the one and only true Elohim (the transliterated Hebrew title of the G-d of Israel), the only One who are able to help us. The reason why most people and especially those from the lost ten tribes are not even aware that what is happening to us at this time, is because they do not know that we are part of the lost-ten-tribes of Israel, whom YHVH scattered into mainly the western nations of the world. If they understood this, they would have realized that most of the prophecies written in the Scriptures are about what is going to befall us at the end of the age and would have taken corrective action by turning to YHVH for help and guidance. If we consider the history of Elohim’s people, we will know that He is a merciful Father, if only we turn or rather return to Him and His will and ways for us. It is like YHVH told King Solomon in second Chronicles 7: 13 & 14, saying: “If I shut up the heavens so that there is no rain, or if I command the locust to devour the land, or of I send pestilence among My people, (14) and My people who are called by My name (meaning Israel consisting of the three tribes of the house of Judah and the ten tribes of the house of Israel; that is, not only the Jews, but also the remnant of the lost ten tribes of Israel, whom YHVH is calling out of the false churches of the world, to repent and follow His ways) humble themselves and pray, and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways (Sunday worship, eating of un-kosher food, keeping Xmas and Easter (two known pagan holidays), then I will hear from heaven, will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.”However, our people have for many years called on the name of a deity called Gawd[1] or Lord (meaning Baal), because of major deception that occurred with the introduction of Christianity by none other than Satan’s agent Simon Magus, who also introduced the concept of payment for ‘spiritual lessons’, as opposed to what Messiah told His disciples when He first sent them out in Matthew 10: 5 – 8, saying: “Do not go in the way of the Gentiles, and do not enter any city of the Samaritans; (6) but rather go to the lost sheep of the house of Israel. (7) And as you go, preach, saying, ‘The kingdom of heaven is at hand.’ (8) Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse the lepers, cast out demons; freely you received, freely give.”Say to any of the teachers in Israel today, that they should teach fellow Israelites for free, and you will see a revolt of ‘religious leaders’ similar to those who strike for higher wages among the workers in South Africa. Because of the confusion so prevalent among Israelites worldwide about the names and titles of the deities they worship, we need to go back in the history of Israel, to see how Elijah handled the situation when Israel called on Baal and he got them to return to YHVH the Elohim of Israel.
Elijah lived during the times of some of the kings of Israel, before the nation of Israel were taken into captivity by the Assyrians during 721 – 718 BCE. After king Omri died, Ahab his son became king over Israel. Ahab married the daughter of the king of the Zidonians, named Jezebel. King Ahab and his wife Jezebel were an evil alliance and caused the house of Israel to sin even more than before. Jezebel had all the prophets of Elohim killed and chose her own priests and prophets to serve Baal and Asherim (religious pillars or towers, not dissimilar to the steeples to be found next to the places of worship in the western world). When YHVH saw the Idolatry in Israel He sent Elijah to king Ahab with the messagerecorded in first Kings 17: 1, as follows: ‘Now Elijah the Tishbite, who was of the settlers of Gilead, said to Ahab, “As YHVH, the Elohim of Israel lives, before whom I stand, surely there shall be neither dew nor rain these years, except by my word.”’ From that time on there was no rain, the wells began to dry up and without water the crops in Israel failed. Soon their food became scarce and the nation of Israel was feeling Elohim’s punishment. YHVH sent Elijah to Zarephath in Sidon a Phoenician coastal town north of Israel, in what is Lebanon today. Even though this widow was not an Israelite, she had some knowledge about YHVH the Elohim of Israel. Elijah performed a number of miracles including raising her son from the dead during his stay with the widow, and fed her and her son for the better part of three and a half years – a length of time which has a lot of meaning for the house of Israel in the last days, as witnessed in Revelation 12: 1 – 6, in this way: “And a great sign appeared in heaven: a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and on her head a crown of twelve stars; and she was with child; (2) and she cried out, being in labor and in pain to give birth. (3) And another sign appeared in heaven: and behold, a great red dragon having seven heads and ten horns, and on his heads were seven diadems. (4)And his tail swept away a third of the stars (angels) of heaven, and threw them to the earth. And the dragon stood before the woman who was about to give birth, so that when she gave birth he might devour her child. (5)And she gave birth to a son, a male child, who is to rule all the nations with a rod of iron; and her child was caught up to Elohim and to His throne. (6) And the woman fled into the wilderness where she had a place prepared by Elohim, so that there she might be nourished for one thousand two hundred and sixty days.” YHVH our Elohim will ensure that even though the world are going to experience a drought of His word during the 2½ year great tribulation and the Day of YHVH lasting another year, His elect will still be fed spiritual food to keep them prepared to rule under Messiah during the Millennium.
After the end of the drought three years later, Elijah returned to Ahab to tell him that the drought was over. Elohim was going to send rain, but wanted King Ahab to know that He was the true Elohim. Elijah initially feared that Ahab would kill him if he saw him again. But, reading from first Kings 18: 17 – 20 we see the rest of the account unfold, as follows:‘Andit came about, when Ahab saw Elijah that Ahab said to him, “Is this you, you troubler of Israel?” (18) And he said, “I have not troubled Israel, but you and your father’s house have, because you have forsaken the commandments of YHVH, and you have followed the Baals. (19) Now then send and gather to me all Israel at Mount Carmel, together with 450 prophets of Baal and 400 prophets of the Asherah who eat at Jezebel’s table.” (20) So Ahab sent a message among all the sons of Israel, and brought the prophets together at Mount Carmel.’ The time came and both the prophets of Elohim and those of Baal stood in the sight of Israel. Elijah stepped forward and challenged Ahab and all the people, as we read in the second part of first Kings 18: 21, saying:‘“How long will you hesitate between two opinions? If YHVH is Elohim, follow Him; but if Baal, follow him.” But the people did not answer him a word.’ Elijah had the people bring two bullocks to offer for a sacrifice; one he gave to the prophets of Baal, and the other he kept to offer to YHVH the true Elohim. Each side had to prepare an altar and sacrifice the animal, but they were not allowed to set fire to it. The god who answered by fire to consume the sacrifice would be known as the only true Elohim.Baal’s prophets began crying out to him from early in the morning until evening, but there was no answer. We see from first Kings 18: 27 how Elijah mocked the people calling for Baal, saying: “Call out with a loud voice, for he is a god; either he is occupied or gone aside, or is on a journey, or perhaps he is asleep and needs to be awakened.” So they cried with a louder voice and cut themselves with swords and lances until blood gushed out of themaccording to their custom. But all their efforts were in vain, and that evening when it was time for the evening sacrifice, Elijah began to prepare his sacrifice to Elohim. He prepared the altar, carefully placing 12 stones, one for each tribe of Israel. Then He put the animal on the wood which he put on the altar. He next dug a trench around the altar and had four barrels of water poured over the animals and the wood. He poured water over the altar three more times, until the whole altar and sacrifice were soaked. Elijah prayed to YHVH and we see in first Kings 18: 38 that He responded, as follows: ‘Then the fire of YHVH fell, and consumed the burnt offering and the wood and the stones and the dust, and licked up the water that was in the trench.’ When the people saw it, they fell on their faces, saying in verse 39: ‘YHVH, He is Elohim; YHVH, He is Elohim.’ Elijah had the prophets of Baal killed and as YHVH promised it soon began to rain.
We know from the Scriptures that YHVH eventually scattered the house of Israel into all the nations of the world because of idolatry, as also witnessed in Amos 9: 9, as follows: “For behold, I am commanding, and I will shake the house of Israel among all nations as grain is shaken in a sieve, but not a kernel will fall to the ground.” In a Christian country like ours, thousands of sincere believers go to church on Sunday and special Xmas services, without knowing that they are sincerely wrong. It is for this reason that we read from Isaiah 10: 20 – 22: ‘Now it will come about in that day that the remnant of Israel, and those of the house of Jacob who have escaped, will never again rely on the one who struck them, but will truly rely on YHVH, the Holy One of Israel. (21) A remnant will return, the remnant of Jacob, to the mighty Elohim. (22) For though your people, O Israel, may be like the sand of the sea, only a remnant within them will return; a destruction is determined, overflowing with righteousness.’ A remnant in the Scriptures usually only represent10% of the total;thereforeonly a relatively small number of the house of Israel will be saved alive. The reason for this is as YHVH prophesied through Jeremiah in Jeremiah 3: 14, saying:‘Return, O faithless sons,’ declares YHVH; ‘for I am a master to you, and I will take you one from a city and two from a family, and I will bring you to Zion.’ YHVH is only calling a few at this time, to become first fruit believers, to learn His will and way, so that they may become kings and priests ruling under Yahshua during the millennium and on into eternity. The second harvest of human souls will be a much larger harvest, but will only take place after the millennium and second resurrection (as may be read in Revelation 20: 4 – 6). The road that we follow is a very lonely narrow road, and there are not many true believers to encourage us, but as YHVH said to Elijah in verse 18 of first Kings 19, there are others like us, throughout the world who has not bowed the knee to the false gods of this world.
As only a select few in the world doing the work of Elohim at this time, we have an enormous responsibility, as the prophet Malachi wrote in Malachi 4: 4 – 6, saying:“Remember the law of Moses My servant, even the statutes and ordinances which I commanded him in Horeb for all Israel (not only the Jews). (5) Behold, I am going to send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and terrible day of YHVH (Yom YHVH will follow after the two and a half years of tribulation before Messiah’s return one day – the Day of YHVH will be the time of the Seven Trumpet Plagues discussed in Revelation 8: 1 to Revelation 11: 15 & 19 and 19: 1 - 21.) (6) And he will restore the hearts of the fathers to their children, and the hearts of the children to their fathers, lest I come and smite the land with a curse (Allah).” We are the ones who are supposed to teach people to return to YHVH and His Torah, but also to teach them that His name is YHVH. In addition we should teach our children to go back to the hearts (faith) of our father’s in the faith; meaning Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, but also King David. Our Fathers in the faith called on the name of YHVH (Genesis 12: 7 & 8[2]), kept Elohim’s commandments (Genesis 26: 5[3]), believed in the resurrection of the dead (Hebrews 11: 17 – 19[4]), in the writings of Messiah (John 8: 56[5]) and the coming kingdom of Elohim (Hebrews 11: 10[6]). The prophets of Baal today are none other than those who are too afraid to teach fellow believers that YHVH is our Elohim. Instead they continue to teach in the name of the LORD or Baal. But that is not all; as we read from first Kings 18: 29, in this way: ‘And it came about when midday was past, that they (the prophets of Baal) raved until the time of the offering of the evening sacrifice; but there was no voice, no one answered, and no one paid attention.’ From this we see that the prophets of Baal believed in offerings (or tithes), but rejected the Appointed Times to submit these offerings. Turning to verse 36, we read: ‘Then it came about at the time of the offering of the evening sacrifice, that Elijah the prophet came near and said, “O YHVH, the Elohim of Abraham, Isaac and Israel, today let it be known that Thou art Elohim in Israel, and that I am Thy servant, and that I have done all these things at Thy word.’ Elijah presented the offering at ‘The Appointed Time.’
Most of us are familiar with (YHVH)’s appointed times know and understand the Feast Days of Elohim, but also came to realize that the prophets of Baal have substituted the Set-apart Days of Elohim with Baal’s days. Churchianity insists that the Day of the LORD (YHVH) is Sunday, without fully understanding that the Day of YHVH will be a terrible time of (YHVH)’s vengeance on those who do not follow the way of Elohim and His Feast Days specified in Torah. Yahshua our Messiah was not born on December the 25th and Christmas was a pagan festival adopted by Christianity who tried to make their religion more acceptable to the pagans around them, in an attempt to win them over, and to avoid persecution. As a result, the original Nazarene faith, which was a sect of Judaism, was cast aside in favor of a counterfeit, paganized belief system. In fact the 25th of December was celebrated as the ‘Nativity of the Sun’ in the northern hemisphere by the pagan cult known as Mithraism. Those who do not keep Elohim’s Feast Days do not understand Elohim’s plan of salvation for all mankind, and believe in the satanic doctrine that good people go to heaven at death, whilst the wicked will be thrown into an ever burning hell fire. It is vitally important for our people to know that (YHVH)’s name have been replaced with Baal’s name (Baal being the LORD God). It is only once you receive the Set-apart Spirit at immersion in Messiah’s saving name Yahshua, that you will truly start searching the Scriptures for the many truths hidden in it. It is truly as YHVH told Israel through Moses in Deuteronomy 4: 27 - 29, saying: ‘And YHVH will scatter you among the peoples, and you shall be left few in number among the nations, where YHVH shall drive you. (28) And there you will serve gods, the work of man’s hands, wood and stone, which neither see nor hear nor eat nor smell. (29) But from there you will seek YHVH your Elohim, and you will find Him if you search for Him with all your heart and all your soul.’
For those of us whom YHVH is calling to come out of the religions of this world, and whose minds He isbusy opening to His Scriptures at this time, He is saying through Amos in chapter 3: 6 – 8:‘If a trumpet is blown in a city will not the people tremble? If a calamity occurs in a city has not YHVH done it? (7) Surely YHVH Elohim does nothing unless He reveals His secret counsel to His servants the prophets. (8) A lion has roared! Who will not fear? YHVH Elohim has spoken! Who can but prophesy?’ YHVH said clearly in His word, the Scriptures, that He would get His warning message to His people; He said through the prophet Hosea in Chapter 5: 9, ‘Ephraim will become a desolation in the day of rebuke; among the tribes of Israel I declare what is sure.’ Continuing in Hosea 7: 8 -12, YHVH said: ‘Ephraim mixes himself with the nations; Ephraim has become a cake not turned. (9) Strangers devour his strength, yet he does not know it; gray hairs also are sprinkled on him, yet he does not know it. (10) Though the pride of Israel testifies against him, yet they have neither returned to YHVH their Elohim, nor have they sought Him, for all this. (11) So Ephraim has become like a silly dove, without sense; they call to Egypt, they go to Assyria. (12) When they go, I will spread My net over them; I will bring them down like the birds of the sky. I will chastise them in accordance with the proclamation to their assembly.’Ephraim is a pet name for the United States and the British Commonwealth of which South Africa was once part and in the mind of YHVH still is.
YHVH has been warning our nations in His word through His prophets, for thousands of years, but because we have lost our identity, our faith and even the language of our fathers in the faith, we are not even aware of the many prophecies in the Scriptures about what is about to befall us in these latter days during which we live. YHVH warned the house of Israel in especially the prophecies of Ezekiel, and if only we were aware of these facts and come to repentance, there are indescribable blessings awaiting those who eventually repent, and return to YHVH and Brother Judah through Yahshua the true Messiah. YHVH devoted the entire chapter of Zephaniah 3 about what is happening in South Africa as well as in the rest of the Ephraimite nations at this time. We start reading about the condition of this country which was once part of the developed world, but is fast deteriorating to becoming a third world nation. We start reading from verses 1 & 2 of Zephaniah 3, YHVH saying through Zephaniah: ‘Woe to her who is rebellious and defiled, the tyrannical city! (2) She heeded no voice; she accepted no instruction. She did not trust in YHVH; she did not draw near to Her Elohim.’Even though South Africans claim to know their G-d, they have no idea who YHVH is, since they do not ever study the so-called ‘Old Testament’, since they came to believe that their Savior has either abolished the need to keep Torah, or has fulfilled it for them. As a result, they believe that they may do whatever they like, as long as they have a full abundant life and enjoy the time that they have on earth; and as long as they believe in J*e*s*u*s*. But they have no idea what it means to believe in the name of the Savior and that believe in Him means that we are supposed to do what He taught and did whilst He was on earth. Yes, our people go to church every Sunday, the day they believe to be the Sabbath Day of the L-RD, even though their forbears left Europe to get away from Catholic Europe, they are still very much part of the false religious system that YHVH is talking about in Ezekiel 22: 26, in this way: “Her priests have done violence to My law and have profaned My holy things; they have made no distinction between the holy and the profane, and they have not taught the difference between the unclean and the clean; and they hide their eyes from My Sabbaths, and I am profaned among them.” Most of them have also come to agree with the New Age Religionists that the G-d of Christianity, the G-d of the Moslems, in fact the G-d of any known religion on earth is all one and the same being. This is also the reason why they do not care about using any specific name for the Mighty One whom they worship.
Brethren it is time for us to turn to YHVH for help or we will be destroyed completely in our beloved country. We read about the leaders in our country from verse 3 of Zephaniah 3, as follows:‘Her princes within her are roaring lions, her judges are wolves at evening; they leave nothing for the morning.’ Like lions they threaten to take people’s properties; they party from dusk to dawn, eating and drinking everything in sight. But why is this happening? We are given the answer in Jeremiah 5: 6 & 7, in this way: ‘Therefore a lion from the forest shall slay them, a wolf of the deserts shall destroy them, a leopard is watching their cities. Everyone who goes out of them shall be torn in pieces, because their transgressions are many, their apostasies (falling away from truth) are numerous.(7) Why should I pardon you? Your sons have forsaken Me and sworn by those who are not gods. When I had fed them to the full, they committed adultery and troopedto the harlot’s house.’ Zephaniah continues in Zephaniah 3: 4, saying: ‘Her prophets (religious leaders) are reckless, treacherous men; her priests have profaned the sanctuary. They have done violence to the law.’ As shown in the news the priests and other leaders in society are setting the examples to people how to sin and break Elohim’s commandments. Despite all this, we read from verse 5 of Zephaniah 3:‘YHVH is righteous within her; He will do no injustice. Every morning He brings His justice to light; He does not fail. But the unjust knows no shame.’ We should be ashamed because of our deeds, if we consider the blessings that YHVH bestows upon us daily, but most people know no shame. Some drink, fornicate and kill during the night and get up and carry on as if nothing happened the next day. As a result YHVH warns us through Zephaniah in verses 6 – 8, saying: “I have cut off nations; their corner towers are in ruins. I have made their streets desolate, with no one passing by; their cities are laid waste, without a man, without an inhabitant.’ (In recent months there have been much destruction throughout the world, but we are not the least concerned about it. We are totally oblivious of what is happening around us – and it is for this reason that Jeremiah asked in Jeremiah 9: 12, saying: ‘Who is the wise man that may understand this? And who is he to whom the mouth of YHVH has spoken, that he may declare it? Why is the land ruined, laid waste like a desert, so that no one passes through?’)(7) “I said, ‘Surely you will revere Me, accept instruction.’ So her dwelling will not be cut off according to all that I have appointed concerning her. But they were eager to corrupt all their deeds. (We are being punished because we do not obey our Creator – despite believing that we are a ‘religious’ nation.) (8) “Therefore, wait for Me,” declares YHVH, “for the day when I rise up to the prey. Indeed, My decision is to gather nations, to assemble kingdoms, to pour out on them My indignation, all My burning anger; for all the earth will be devoured by the fire of My zeal.’ Brethren, we can pray and do all we like to try and save our planet, if we do not start obeying YHVH, we might as well forget it.
Continuing in verses 9 & 10, YHVH says “For then I will give to the peoples purified lips, that all of them may call on the name of YHVH, to serve Him shoulder to shoulder. (10) From beyond the rivers of Ethiopia My worshipers, My dispersed ones, will bring My offerings.” The purified lips spoken about in Zephaniah will be a pure dialect of Hebrew, and not Afrikaans, Zulu or Xhosa as some of us believe. If we don’t humble ourselves before YHVH, He is going to humble us. We read fittingly from verses 11 & 12, YHVH saying through Zephaniah: “In that day you will feel no shame because of all your deeds by which you have rebelled against Me; for then I will remove from your midst your proud, exalting ones, and you will never again be haughty on My holy mountain. (12) But I will leave among you a humble and lowly people, and they will take refuge in the name of YHVH.” YHVH is going to intervene severely, but because He promised our forefathers that He will give us the Promised Land of Israel for ever, He is going to save a remnant of the Lost–ten-tribes, plus those few Gentiles who are truly prepared to follow Him with us, from beyond the rivers of Africa, as witnessed in verse 13, saying: “The remnant of Israel will do no wrong and tell no lies, nor will a deceitful tongue be found in their mouths; for they shall feed and lie down with no one to make them tremble.” However, YHVH is not only talking about the Israelites in South Africa, He is also talking about the remnant of Israel world-wide who is at this time turning back to serve Him shoulder to shoulder. We read in more detail about this from Ezekiel 34: 13 – 16, in this way: “And I will bring them out from the peoples and gather them from the countries and bring them to their own land; and I will feed them on the mountains of Israel, by the streams, and in all the inhabited places of the land. (14) I will feed them in a good pasture, and their grazing ground will be on the mountain heights of Israel. There they will lie down in good grazing ground, and they will feed in rich pasture on the mountains of Israel. (15) I will feed My flock and I will lead them to rest,” declares YHVH Elohim. (16) I will seek the lost, bring back the scattered, bind up the broken, and strengthen the sick; but the fat and the strong I will destroy. I will feed them with judgment.”It is only at that time that things will change for us throughout the world, but especially in South Africa.
Zephaniah further writes about that blessed time in verse 14, saying: ‘Shout for joy, O daughter of Zion! Shout in triumph, O Israel! Rejoice and exult with all your heart, O daughter of Jerusalem! He continues to tell us why we need to rejoice at that time, saying in verse 15: ‘YHVH has taken away His judgments against you, He has cleared away your enemies. (From this it is clear that we have enemies, because of our past sins.) The King of Israel, YHVH, is in your midst; you will fear disaster no more.’ Zephaniah continues giving us the good news about what will follow because of (YHVH)’s promises in verses 16 & 17, saying: ‘In that day it will be said to Jerusalem: “Do not be afraid, O Zion; do not let your hands fall limp. (17) YHVH your Elohim is in your midst, a victorious warrior. He will exult over you with joy, He will be quiet in His love, He will rejoice over you with shouts of joy.’ The cross reference alongside verse 16 refers to Isaiah 35: 3 & 4, from where we get more reassurance in this way: ‘Encourage the exhausted, and strengthen the feeble. (4) Say to those with anxious heart, “Take courage, fear not. Behold, your Elohim will come with vengeance; the recompense of Elohim will come, but He will save you.” Fellow believers, it is the duty of those of us who do not always feel the direct impact of the persecutions against our people, to encourage the exhausted among us.In verses 18, YHVH mentions those of us who are continually grieving because people do not keep Elohim’s appointed Feast days, or because some are adamant to keep Feast days of their own design, to try and prove that the Jews are also ‘wrong’, saying: “I will gather those who grieve about the appointed feasts— they came from you, O Zion (these feasts came from Judah[7]); the reproach of exile is a burden on them.” Only a few people in South Africa realize that we are living in exile, where our children do not get jobs and that we are going to be persecuted for obeyingElohim. Those who tend to keep the Feast Days of Elohim, according to their own devised calendars, are definitely not grieving about Elohim’s appointed Feast Days – they are too arrogant. They spend many hours watching for the crescent moon instead of using the calendar preserved for us, by the house of Judah, since their return from captivity about 2,500 years ago in Nehemiah’s time. This is why Isaiah wrote in Isaiah 47: 13, saying: “You are wearied with your many counsels; let now the astrologers, those who prophesy by the stars, those who predict by the new moons, stand up and save you from what will come upon you.” Most of those who watch prophecies about the signs in the stars and the moon are doing so to try and save their lives, not to serve YHVH better. No wonder Yahshua warned us about this very thing in Matthew 16: 25, saying: “For whoever wishes to save his life shall lose it; but whoever loses his life for My sake shall find it.” The truth is; even if we are killed by whatever is prophesied to happen to us here in South Africa, if we remain faithful to YHVH to the end, we are promised to be resurrected to eternal life anyway.
In the end YHVH will come to our aid; He will deal will those who persecute us as He also promised in verse 19, saying: ‘“Behold, I am going to deal at that time with all your oppressors, I will save the lame and gather the outcast, and I will turn their shame into praise and renown in all the earth.” YHVH promises further through Isaiah in Isaiah 60: 14, saying:“And the sons of those who afflicted you will come bowing to you, and all those who despised you will bow themselves at the soles of your feet; and they will call you the city of YHVH, the Zion of the Holy One of Israel.” When that happens one day in the not too distant future, YHVH assures us that our lot will change forever saying in verse 20: “Atthat time I will bring you in, even at the time when I gather you together; indeed, I will give you renown and praise among the peoples of the earth, when I restore your fortunes before your eyes,” says YHVH.’ The Israelite people are not the world’s most favorite people at present; we are known by all sorts of names and generally hated for things done by those who came before us. But, YHVH is promising us here that the remnant whom He is going to save, will be renowned and praised in the very near future.Yes, despite the gloom and doom, there is something better coming soon. Hallelujah!
[1]Gawd or Gad is the god of luck mentioned in Isaiah 65: 11, in this way: “But you who forsake YHVH, who forget My holy mountain (Elohim’s Government, represented by the coming Kingdom of Elohim, when Messiah returns to rule from Jerusalem), who set a table for Fortune (or Gawd) and who fill cups with mixed wine for Destiny (Meni)
[2]Genesis 12: 7 & 8, ‘And YHVH appeared to Abram and said, “To your descendants I will give this land.” So he built an altar there to YHVH who appeared to him. Then he proceeded from there to the mountain on the east of Bethel, and pitched his tent, with Bethel on the west and Ai on the east, and there he built an altar to YHVH and called upon the name of YHVH.’
[3]Genesis 26: 5, “Because Abraham obeyed Me and kept My charge, My commandments, My statues and My laws.”
[4]Hebrews 11: 17 – 19, “By faith Abraham, when he was tested, offered up Isaac; and he who had received the promises was offering up his only begotten son; it was he to whom it was said, ‘IN ISAAC YOUR DESCENDANTS SHALL BE CALLED.’ He considered that Elohim is able to raise men even from the dead; from which he also received him back as a type.”
[5]John 8: 56, “Your father Abraham rejoiced to see My day, and he saw it and was glad.”
[6]Hebrews 11: 10, “for he was looking for the city which has foundations, whose architect and builder is Elohim.” Even though these verses only talks about Abraham, Isaac and Jacob in the main, it can be proven from the Psalms that King David held these same beliefs.
[7]Zion is the house of Judah, as we read from Psalm 78: 67 & 68, in this way: ‘He also rejected the tent of Joseph, and did not choose the tribe of Ephraim, but chose the tribe of Judah, Mount Zion which He loved.’ Yes, we become part of Zion when we do what they teach us.
