Stone of Destiny revisited.

The Scriptures have many references comparing HASHEM to a rock. Commencing in Deuteronomy 32: 3 & 4 we read: “For I proclaim the name of HASHEM; ascribe greatness to our G-d! (4) The Rock! His work is perfect, for all His ways are just; a G-d of faithfulness and without injustice, righteous and upright is He.” King Davidalso referred to HASHEM as his rock in many of the Psalms that he wrote to the esteem and praise of G-d; as witnessed in the instances listed below:

  • Psalm 18: 2, 31 & 46: ‘HASHEM is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer, my G-d, my rock, in whom I take refuge; my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold. (31) For who is G-d, but HASHEM? And who is a rock, except our G-d. (46) HASHEM lives, and blessed be my rock; and exalted be the G-d of my salvation.’

  • Psalm 19: 14, ‘Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in Thy sight, O HASHEM, my rock and my Redeemer.’

  • Psalm 27: 5, ‘For in the day of trouble He will conceal me in His tabernacle; in the secret place of His tent He will hide me; He will lift me up on a rock.’

  • Psalm 40: 2, ‘He brought me up out of the pit of destruction, out of the miry clay; and He set my feet upon a rock making my footsteps firm.’

  • Psalm 61: 2, ‘From the end of the earth I call to Thee, when my heart is faint; lead me to the rock that is higher than I.’

  • Psalm 62: 2 & 7: ‘He only is my rock and my salvation, my stronghold; I shall not be greatly shaken. (7) On G-d my salvation and my glory rest; the rock of my strength, my refuge is in G-d.’

The first reference to the stone of destiny appears in Genesis 28: 10 – 22, in this way: ‘Then Jacob departed from Beersheba and went toward Haran. (11) And he came to a certain place and spent the night there, because the sun had set; and he took one of the stones of the place and put it under his head, and lay down in that place. (12) And he had a dream, and behold, a ladder was set on the earth with its top reaching to heaven; and behold, the angels of G-d were ascending and descending on it. (13) And behold, HASHEM stood above it and said, “I am HASHEM, the G-d of your father Abraham and the G-d of Isaac; the land on which you lie, I will give it to you and your descendants. (14)Your descendants shall also be like the dust of the earth, and you shall spread out to the west (Europe, England and America) and to the east(Australasia), to the north (Russia and Scandinavia)and to the south (Kenya, North and South Rhodesia, and South Africa); and in you and in your descendants shall all the families of the earth be blessed (Nivrachu – meaning blessed but also mixed). (15) And behold, I am with you, and will keep you wherever you go, and will bring you back to this land; for I will not leave you until I have done what I promised you.” (16) Then Jacob awoke from his sleep and said, “Surely HASHEM is in this place, and I did not know it.” (17) And he was afraid and said, “How awesome is this place! This is none other than the house of G-d, and this is the gate to heaven.”(18) So Jacob rose early in the morning, and took the stone that he had put under his head and set it up as a pillar, and poured oil on its top. (19) And he called the name of that place Bethel (the house of G-d); however, previously the name of the city had been Luz.(20) Then Jacob made a vow, saying, “If G-d will be with me and will keep me on this journey that I take, and will give me food to eat and garments to wear, (21) and I return to my father’s house in safety, then HASHEM will be my G-d. (22)And this stone, which I have set up as a pillar, will be G-d’s house; and of all that Thou dost give me I will surely give a tenth to Thee.”’

We see from this that Jacob took the stone which he used as a pillow, set it up as a pillar and poured anointing oil on it, in order to mark the place where HASHEM had met him. Jacob set the stone up as a landmark, calling the place the house of G-d and the gate to heaven. Jacob returned to the same place 22 years later as directed by HASHEM and he erected an altar of stonesin that place. We read from Genesis 35: 6 -12:‘So Jacob came to Luz (that is Bethel), which is in the land of Canaan, he and all the people who were with him. (7) And he built an altar there and called the place El-bethel, because thereG-d had revealed Himself to him, when he fled from his brother. (8) Now Deborah, Rebekah’s nurse, died, and she was buried below Bethel under the oak; it was namedAllon-bacuth (oak of weeping).(9)Then G-d appeared to Jacob again when he came from Paddan-aram, and He blessed him. (10) And G-d said to him, “your name is Jacob; you shall no longer be called Jacob, but Israel shall be your name.” Thus He called him Israel.  (11) G-d also said to him, “I am G-d Almighty; be fruitful and multiply; a nation and a company of nations shall come from you, and kings shall come forth from you.(12)And the land which I gave to Abraham and Isaac, I will give it to you, and I will give the land to your descendants after you.”’Because HASHEM is very serious about stones set-up as landmarks, He commanded in Deuteronomy 19: 14, saying to the nation of Israel: “You shall not move your neighbor’s boundary mark, which the ancestors have set, in your inheritance which you shall inherit in the land that HASHEM your G-d gives you to possess.’ We see from Proverbs 22: 28 that this command is repeated, because it was to become the place where the Temple of G-d would eventually be built, as follows: ‘Do not move the ancient boundary which your fathers have set.’ The Bethel stone was committed in the care of the house of Joseph, for when Jacob blessed each of his twelve sons before he died in Egypt, he prophesied concerning Joseph and his house whom he had just given the birthright in Genesis 48, saying to Joseph in Genesis 49: 22 – 26: “Joseph is a fruitful bough, a fruitful bough by a spring; its branches run over a wall. (23) The archers bitterly attacked him, and shot at him and harassed him; (24) but his bow remained firm, and his arms were agile, from the hands of the Mighty One of Jacob (From there is the Shepherd, the Stone of Israel), (25) From the G-d of your father who helps you, and by the Almighty who blesses you with blessings of heaven above, blessings of the deep that lies beneath, blessings of the breasts and the womb. (26) The blessings of your father have surpassed the blessings of my ancestors up to the utmost bound of the everlasting hills; may they be on the head of Joseph, and on the crown of the head of the one distinguished among his brothers.”

Many years later, when the children of Israel were led out of Egypt under the leadership of Moses, the Bethel stone became a great help to them when there was no water to drink and HASHEM said to Moses in Exodus 17: 6 & 7: “Behold, I will stand before you there on the rock at Horeb; and you shall strike the rock, and water will come out of it, that the people may drink.” And Moses did so in the sight of the elders of Israel. (7) And he named the place Massah and Meribah because of the quarrel of the sons of Israel, and because they tested HASHEM, saying, “Is HASHEM among us, or not?”’By saying ‘the rock’ at Horeb, shows that the rock with which they were already familiar, was there at the time. Later at Kadesh a city near Petra on the border of Edom, the Bethel stone again became a help to Israel, as witnessed in Numbers 20: 3 - 5, in this way: ‘The people thus contended with Moses and spoke, saying, “If only we had perished when our brothers perished before HASHEM! (4) Why then have you brought (HASHEM)’s assembly into this wilderness, for us and our beasts to die here? (5) And why have you made us come up from Egypt, to bring us in to this wretched place? It is not a place of grain or figs or vines or pomegranates, nor is there water to drink.”In their time of need HASHEM appeared to Moses in Numbers 20: 8, saying: “Take the rod; and you and your brother Aaron assemble the congregation and speak to the rock before their eyes, that it may yield its water. You shall thus bring forth water for them out of the rock and let the congregation and their beasts drink.”The commonwealth of Israel was commanded to gather in front of the rock, and they clearly understood which rock it was. The Bethel stone was the same rock used at Rephidim and Kadesh. This was not a mere stone, this was the Bethel stone that represented Messiah, the Rock of our Salvation, as Rav Shaul also identified it in first Corinthians 10: 1 – 4 & 11, saying: ‘For I do not want you to be unaware, brethren, that our fathers were all under the cloud, and all passed through the sea; (2) and all were immersed into Moses in the cloud and in the sea; (3) and all ate the same spiritual food; (4) and all drank the same spiritual drink, for they were drinking from a spiritual rock which followed them; and the rock was Messiah. (11)Now these things happened to them as an example, and they were written for our instruction, upon whom the ends of the ages have come.’ After Jacob set-up the rock as a pillar, he also anointed it with oil; something which is usually done over kings, priests and prophets making it the ‘Anointed One’. Messiah ben Joseph always identified Himself with the Bethel stone, one example being in John 1: 51 where He said to Nathanael: “Truly, truly, I say to you, you shall see the heavens opened, and the angels of G-d ascending and descending on the Son of Man.” He was actually telling Nathanael that he like Jacob will be in the kingdom of G-d, when He comes to establish it at His return.

 

 Rav Kepha had no doubt who the rock was upon whom Messiah ben Joseph will continue to build His congregation of called out Israelites, which He will eventually bringback to the sheepfold of their Jewish Brothers when He returns one day, and said unambiguously in Acts 4: 8 – 12: “Rulers and elders of the people, (9) if we are on trial today for a benefit done to a sick man, as to how this man has been made well, (10) let it be known to all of you, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Messiah ben Joseph the Nazarene, whom you crucified, whom G-d raised from the dead—by this name this man stands here before you in good health. (11) He is the STONE WHICH WAS REJECTED by you, THE BUILDERS, but WHICH BECAME THE VERY CORNER stone. (12) And there is salvation in no one else; for there is no other name under heaven that has been given among men, by which we must be saved.”After wandering in the wilderness and the passing of the leadership from Moses to Joshua, the children of Israel entered the Promised Land to establish the commonwealth of Israel. Tradition has it that the Bethel stone was not used in the building of Solomon’s Temple, because it was rough and was cracked where the water came forth from it for the children of Israel, as witnessed in Psalm 118: 19 – 29, as follows: ‘Open to me the gates of righteousness; I shall enter through them, I shall give thanks to HASHEM.(20) This is the gate of HASHEM; the righteous will enter through it. (21) I shall give thanks to Thee, for Thou hast answered me; and Thou hast become my salvation. (22) The stone which the builders rejected has become the chief corner stone. (23) This is (HASHEM)’s doing; it is marvelous in our eyes. (24) This is the day which HASHEM has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it. (25) O HASHEM, do save, we beseech Thee; O HASHEM, we beseech Thee, do send prosperity!(26) Blessed is the one who comes in the name of HASHEM; we have blessed you from the house of HASHEM. (27) HASHEM is G-d, and He has given us light; bind the festival sacrifice with cords to the horns of the altar. (28) Thou art my G-d, and I give thanks to Thee; Thou art my G-d, I extol Thee. (29) Give thanks to HASHEM, for He is good; for His lovingkindness is everlasting.’The house of Israel did not stay true to their faith in HASHEM, and G-d divided the commonwealth of Israel, by sending the Assyrians to take them captive between 721 and 718 BCE. So as we’ve read from Genesis 28: 14, the house of Israel went into exile beyond present day Iraq into the Caucus region and beyond; later they migrated to the west (Europe, England, and to America) and the east (Australasia), to the north (Russia and Scandinavia) and the south (Africa). The prophet Amos also prophesied about this in Amos 9: 8 & 9, saying: “Behold, the eyes of HASHEMG-d are on the sinful kingdom (meaning the house of Israel), and I will destroy it from the face of the earth; nevertheless, I will not totally destroy the house of Jacob,” declares HASHEM. (9) “For behold, I am commanding, and I will shake the house of Israel among all nations as grain is shaken in a sieve, but not a kernel will fall to the ground.” Even though this prophecy is usually applied to the Jews, it has absolutely nothing to do with them. Yes, the house of Judah was also later taken captive for basically not keeping the land Sabbath every seventh year, by king Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon, but returned to the Promised Land 70 years later. At that time of Judah’s captivity, the king killed  all the sons of king Zedekiah of Judah and also put out the eyes of the king.

 

However, unbeknown to Babylon the bloodline flows through woman, so they spared Zedekiah’s daughters and the people who remained at Mizpah, whom Nebuzaradan the captain of the guard had committed to Gadaliah ben Ahikam as we read from Jeremiah 43: 6& 7, in this way: ‘The men, the woman, the children, the king’s daughters and every person that Nebuzaradan the captain of the bodyguard had left withGadaliah the son of Ahikamand grandson of Shaphan, together with Jeremiah the prophet and Baruch the son of Neriah— (7)  and they entered the land of Egypt (for they did not obey the voice of HASHEM) and went in as far as Tahpanhes.’On the departure of the main body of Jews from Babylon, the prophet Jeremiah was allowed the option by the king, to go to Babylon or remain behind (Jeremiah 39: 12 & 40: 4). Jeremiah decided to remain at Jerusalem (Jeremiah 40: 6) at Mizpah; and he already secured the Holy Things of the Tabernacle, which, if lost could never be replaced, as witnessed in 2 Maccabees 2: 4 – 7, as follows: ‘The document also described how the prophet, warned by an oracle, gave orders for the tabernacle and the ark to go with him when he set out for the mountain which Moses had climbed to survey G-d’s heritage(meaning Mount Horeb). (5) On his arrival Jeremiah found a cave-dwelling, into which he brought the tabernacle, the ark and the altar of incense, afterwards blocking up the entrance. (6) Some of his companions came up to mark out the way, but were unable to find it. (7)When Jeremiah learned this, he reproached them: “The place is to remain unknown” he said“until G-d gathers his people together again and shows them his mercy.”’The king’s daughters escaped with Jeremiah together with a remnant of Judah and went to Egypt. Jeremiah was G-d’s trustee of the bloodline of the Throne of David, in accordance with the promise HASHEM made to David in first Chronicles 17: 11 – 14, saying: “And it shall come about when your days are fulfilled that you must go to be with your fathers, that I will set up one of your descendants after you, who shall be of your sons; and I will establish his kingdom. (12) He shall build for Me a house, and I will establish his throne forever. (13) I will be his father, and he shall be My son; and I will not take My lovingkindness away from him, as I took it from him who was before you. (14) But I will settle him in My house and in My kingdom forever, and his throne shall be established forever.”’”Isaiah gave us a hint about what happened in Isaiah 37: 31 saying: “And the surviving remnant of the house of Judah shall again take root downward and bear fruit upward.” Judah had twin sons called Zerah and Perez, as recorded in Genesis 38: 27 – 30, in this way: ‘And it came about at the time she (Tamar) was giving birth, that behold, there were twins in her womb. (28) Moreover, it took place while she was giving birth, one put out a hand, and the midwife took and tied a scarlet thread on his hand, saying, “This one came out first.” (29) But it came about as he drew back his hand, that behold, his brother came out. Then she said, “What a breach you have made for yourself!” So he was named Perez(meaning breach). (30) And afterward his brother came out who had the scarlet thread on his hand; and he was named Zerah.’ As HASHEM the Eternal intended, the lost ten tribes are to be located and found in these last days.We should expect some signs or waymarks to have been left along the way by which they journeyed from Assyria, the land of their original captivity.

The tribe of Dan originally occupied a strip of coast country west of Jerusalem, on the Mediterranean Sea. But they also occupied a piece of land in the north of Israel next toEast Manasseh. We read from Jeremiah 31: 21 HASHEMsaying to Ephraim:“Set up for yourself roadmarks, place for yourself guideposts; direct your mind to the highway, the way by which you went. Return, O virgin of Israel, return to these your cities.” Throughout the Scriptures we find roadmarks or guideposts, which Israel set up along the way they traveled. In Genesis 49: 17, Jacob blessing Dan (The Irish & Wales among other), saying: “Dan shall be a serpent in the way, a horned snake in the path, that bites the horse’s heels, so that his rider falls backward.” Dan is one of the tribes who named every place where they set foot. We read from Joshua 19: 47, ‘And the territory of the sons of Dan proceeded beyond them; for the sons of Dan went up and fought with Leshem and captured it. Then they struck it with the edge of the sword and possessed it and settled in it; and they called Leshem Dan after the name of Dan their father.’  We read further from Judges 18: 11 – 12, ‘Then from the family of the Danites, from Zorah and from Eshtaol, six hundred men armed with weapons of war set out. (12) And they went up and camped at Kiriath-jearim in Judah. Therefore they called that place Mahaneh-dan to this day; behold, it is west of Kiriath-jearim.’  Later the same group of Danites came to Laish (or Leshem) and called the name of the city Dan (as per verse 29 of Judges 18). Most of us are aware that vowels are not written in the Hebrew language. The English name Dan is made up of the letters ‘D’ and ‘n’ (דן) in Hebrew. Dn might be pronounced as Dan, but also as Den, Din, Don or Dun – all meaning the same original Hebrew name. In Deuteronomy 33, just prior to his death, Moses blessed the sons of Israel. In verse 22 of Deuteronomy 33 we read: ‘And of Dan he said, “Dan is a lion’s whelp,that leaps forth from Bashan.”’ It is believed that when Assyria captured Israel, the Danites struck out in ships and sailed through the Mediterranean Sea and then to Ireland. Irish history shows that new inhabitants of Ireland at that time were known as the ‘Tuatha de Danaans’ or the tribe of Dan. However the northern colony of the Danites was taken captive with the rest of the Israelites. They eventually migrated with the rest of the Israelites north-west into Europe and left such landmarks as Denmark, and in the British Isles they left names like Dundee, Donegal City, Dingle, Dunsmor and Dunraven, amongst others.

 

The prophet Ezekiel wrote a prophecy in this regard in Ezekiel 17: 22, saying:‘Thus says HASHEMG-d, “I shall also take a sprig from the lofty top of the cedar and set it out; I shall pluck from the top-most of its young twigs a tender one, and I shall plant it on a high and lofty mountain.”’ Tea-Tephi was the eldest daughter (a tender twig) of the king of Jerusalem (the Cedar) whom Jeremiah went and plant in the ‘isles of the North’ after the rooting-out and destruction of the Royal House of Zedekiah, and the land of Judea. Jeremiah’s commission was as recorded in Jeremiah 1: 9 & 10, as follows: ‘Then HASHEM stretched out His hand and touched my mouth, and HASHEM said to me, “Behold, I have put My words in your mouth. (10) See, I have appointed you this day over the nations and over the kingdoms, to pluck up and to break down, to destroy and to overthrow, to build and to plant.”’We read in Irish History that before 700 BCE a strong colony of the tribe of Dan (‘Tuatha de Danaan’) arrived in Ireland by ship. Later in the days of King David, a colony of the line of Zerah arrived in Ireland from the East. In the years 569 BCE, an elderly patriarch referred to as a ‘saint’ came to Ireland - it is believed that this was none other than Jeremiah. With him came the princess daughter of an eastern king, with a Hebrew name Tea-Tephi as well as a scribe named Shimon Baruch. This royal party included the king of Ireland who was in Jerusalem at the time of the siege. He got to know Tea-Tephi and married her shortly after the fall of Jerusalem in 585 BCE. Jeremiah brought an ark, a harp and a stone called ‘Lia-fail’ or the ‘Stone of Destiny’, with him to Ireland. Tea-Tephi was crowned upon the Bethel stone, and the name of Hibernia’s capital was changed from Cathair Crofin to Tara, which in its Aramaic form, ‘tra’terah’ meaning the royal door; by implication, a palace. A strange coincidence is that many kings in the history of Ireland, Scotland and England have been crowned sitting over this stone, including Queen Elizabeth II.  This very stone used to be kept at Westminster Abbey in London, and the coronation chair built over it has the inscription ‘Jacob’s Pillar Stone’ (Genesis 28: 18) on it. The stone was moved to Edinburgh Castle on November 30, 1996 the 700th Anniversary of its removal from Scotland. The stone came to Ireland with Jeremiah, where after it was taken to Scotland. In 1296 it was taken to England as the coronation stone of England. Ireland is but one of the nations belonging to the lost ten tribes, which we are able to identify by following the roadmarks that they left along the way.

Morton Spencer wrote:“It is an undeniable historical fact that around 580 BCE (i.e. the very time of the captivity of the Jews in Babylon) that a princess from the East did arrive in the north of Ireland. Her name was Tephi, a pet name like ‘Violet’, denoting beauty, fragrance. Tea-Tephi was her full name, found in Hebrew.  Tea meaning a little one and Tephi answering to a surname. Taph, the root word, is used in scriptures (Gen. 34: 29 and Deut. 1: 39.) (Vide Concordance).” Quoted from “Judah’s Scepter & Joseph’s birthright.” By J.H. Allen. But,what does a large piece of stone from the Judean desert do in Scotland? We read from Hosea 3: 4, ‘For the sons of Israel will remain for many days without king or prince, without sacrifice or sacred pillar, and without ephod or household idols.’  All the prophets speak consistently about the gathering together of (HASHEM)’s people during the end time and listed below are some of the Scriptures in which they do so: Deuteronomy 32: 21, Isaiah 11: 11; 35: 8;& 65: 11, Jeremiah 23: 3, Ezekiel 34: 11; 37: 21, Hosea 1: 11, Micah 2: 12, Zephaniah 3: 12, John 10: 16, 1 Peter 2: 9 & 10. A second exodus brings about this re-gathering, as witnessed in Jeremiah 23: 3 & 6; 51: 6 – 9, 13, Ezekiel 34: 13 – 25, Hosea 2: 15; 3: 5, Zechariah 2: 9 & 10, Micah 7: 15, Amos 9: 11, Joel 2: 28 – 31, John 10: 16, 1 Corinthians 10: 11, Revelation 12: 6, 15 & 16. We also read a prophecy about the end of the age from Matthew 24: 15 & 16, showing that the great tribulation will only begin after the abomination of desolation takes place, as follows: “Therefore when you see the ABOMINATION of DESOLATION which was spoken of through Daniel the prophet, standing in the holy place (let the reader understand), (16) then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains.” As we gather in the Valley of AchorHASHEM betroths us. We read from Isaiah 55: 3 – 5: “Incline you ear and come to Me. Listen, that you may live; and I will make an everlasting covenant with you, according to  the faithful mercies shown to David. (4) Behold, I have made him a witness to the peoples, a leader and commander for the peoples. (5) Behold, you will call a nation you do not know, and a nation which knows younot will run to you, because of HASHEM your G-d, even the Holy One of Israel; for He has glorified you.” Continuing in this regard, we read from Hosea 2: 19 & 20: “And I will betroth you to Me forever; yes, I will betroth you to Me in righteousness and in justice, in lovingkindness and in compassion, (20) and I will betroth you to Me in faithfulness. Then you will know HASHEM.”We read further from Hosea 3: 5, ‘Afterward the sons of Israel will return and seek HASHEM their G-d and David their king; and they will come trembling to HASHEM and to His goodness in the last days.’

We will be betrothed to HASHEM in the Valley of Achor the threshold Israel crossed when they became a nation, but also the threshold we will again cross, as we become a nation in one day, and become the sacred and sanctified bride of Messiah. HASHEM has promised to give us our king, the sacrifice, the ephod and the Moaztzury’shuati – the sacred stone on which He will be crowned as King Messiah. At that time, the breach mentioned between the house of Israel and the house of Judah will be healed, and whilst the house of Judah ruled religious matters for both houses and the crown was transferred to the house of Israel through queen Tea-Tephi, we read from Zechariah 6: 12 & 13 about Messiah taking over both functions at His return, as follows:  “Then say to him, Thus says HASHEM of hosts, “Behold, a man whose name is Branch, for He will branch out from where He is; and He will build the temple of HASHEM. (13) Yes, it is He who will build the temple of HASHEM, and He who will bear the honor and sit and rule on His throne. Thus, He will be a priest on His throne, and the counsel of peace will be between the two offices.” This is in total agreement with Jacob’s prophecy regarding Messiah and the house of Judah in Genesis 49: 10, where he said: “The scepter shall not depart from Judah, nor the ruler’s staff from between his feet, until Shiloh comes, and to him shall be the obedience of the peoples.” Up to that time Ephraim will wear the crown and Judah will be G-d’s Lawgiver, whether we like it or not, as He also clearly told us through David in Psalm 60: 7 (KJV), saying: ‘Gilead is mine, and Manasseh is mine; Ephraim also is the strength of my head (meaning crown as is confirmed in the second part Genesis 49: 26[1]); Judah is my lawgiver.’We read from Amos 9: 11 – 14 how HASHEM is planning to restore the commonwealth of Israel once again, in this way: ‘”In that day I will  raise up the fallen booth of David, and wall up its breaches; I will also raise up its ruins, and rebuild it as in the days of old; (12) that they may possess the remnant of Edom (as per the prophecy in Numbers 24: 18[2]) and all the nations who are called by My name,” declares HASHEM who does this.(13) “Behold, days are coming,” declares HASHEM, ‘when the plowman will overtake the reaper and the treader of grapes him who sows seed; when the mountains will drip sweet wine, and all the hills will be dissolved. (14) Also I will restore the captivity of My people Israel, and they will rebuild the ruined cities and live in them, they will also plant vineyards and drink their wine, and make gardens and eat their fruit.”’

HASHEM has promised to give us the Tabernacle and Ark of the Covenant just as He gave it to the children of Israel. Ezekiel prophesied about the time when HASHEM will once again lead us in Ezekiel 34: 13 & 25, saying: “And I will bring them out from the peoples and gather them from the counties and bring them to their own land; and I will feed them on the mountains of Israel, by the streams, and in all the inhabited places of the land. (25) And I will make a covenant of peace with them and eliminate harmful beasts from the land, so that they may live securely in the wilderness and sleep in the woods.” Jeremiah also prophesied about this time in Jeremiah 23: 3 & 6, saying: “Then I Myself shall gather the remnant of My flock out of all the counties where I have driven them and shall bring them back to their pasture; and they will be fruitful and multiply. (6) In His days Judah will be saved, and Israel will dwell securely; and this is His name by which He will be called, ‘HASHEM our righteousness.’”Messiah ben Joseph told the Jews of His day about us from the lost sheep of the house of Israel, whom He intends to bring back to the sheepfold of the Jews in John 10: 16, saying: “And I have other sheep, which are not of this fold; I must bring them also, and they shall hear My voice; and they shall become one flock with one shepherd.” Soon now, we will hear the voice of HASHEM calling to us as He did to Jacob many years ago in Genesis 31: 13, saying: ‘I am the G-d of Bethel, where you anointed a pillar, where you made a vow to Me; now arise, leave this land, and return to the land of your birth’ Think about it!
